An extraordinary and delicious cocktail made for my daughter, who came from the South of France to celebrate my birthday, by Alex at 1707. One of the best mixologists in the world. You will always be welcome there, and you can discover the flavorful and refined cuisine of Chef Persand and his team, and stay in one of the most beautiful hotels in the region. Beautiful, quiet hotel, furnished with taste, as can be expected, given the fame of the owner. Very friendly and efficient staff. Everything is very clean and well maintained. However, for my taste, the videoscreen in the breakfast room clashes badly with the atmosphere of the place. Breakfast is very good, but slightly expensive. If one can do with a croissant and a cafe, then "Bar L'Europe" next door is a good option to see and be seen, and their staff is great, too.

Staff was extremely friendly. The bar was exquisite. The rooms were immaculate and super comfy. I definitely recommend staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were thrilled with the hotel from the very beginning. It's beautiful and decorated with great attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast delicious. I would also like to particularly highlight the friendly service and the owner of the hotel, Julian, who personally looks after the guests and is available to answer questions and provide tips. There's a spacious parking lot behind the hotel. The location is also very good, right in the center, surrounded by many restaurants and shops. The town of Avallon and the hotel are absolutely worth seeing. We would have loved to stay longer.
