Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix/Avondale

What what was there to like about this hotel? Not too much it’s an older Hilton Garden Inn. The carpeting in the hotel was dirty. The air handling unit in my room was very old and noisy. The hotel faces the 10 freeway which is extremely noisy. The walls are thin, and I could hear conversations in the next room and I could feel people were walking around in the other room, literally vibrating the wall and the bed. And on top of that, they charge 5.75 for parking on a property that has a normal parking lot. It might be a private parking lot, but why would they charge parking? Their only reason I stayed here is I got a great rate on Trip.com, but I’m never coming back

We have stayed at many Hiltons, it’s our go to place when traveling for work or vacation. This one was definitely one we wouldn’t stay at again. Although all the common areas were clean and nice, the room was aged and needs updating. Everything in the room made noises all night, the fridge had a high pitch buzzing, bathroom toilet running, the AC was extremely loud. But most of all the bed was extremely uncomfortable, so hard and the pillows completely flat! Overall we were surprised as usually Hilton beds as so comfortable! The lack of complimentary breakfast also was disappointing, we didn’t know when we booked that breakfast was not included and didn’t notice this until after checking in. The staff was nice at the desk otherwise and common areas were fine.

Well the hotel was clean but could certainly use a refresh. Carpet is old shower had some mildew stains. And one minor point you listed that for the price it included breakfast. It did not Someone else might find that poor information gathering on your part. You may want to double check your information in the future.
