I spent 1 night here, which could best be described as awkward. I arrived to find a woman about to depart. She spoke no English, and called her husband. Had I arrived 5 minutes later then no one would have been there to meet me? He said that he wasn't expecting me, despite having booked & paid on ******* over 2 months earlier. He came by, showed me to my room, but insisted that I pay him, even though I had already paid online. He told me a weird story about never getting paid by ******* for bookings, which both made no sense and should not have been my problem. I was able to same day cancel & refund from *******, but the entire thing left a bad taste in my mouth. The property itself is ok, considering the location. Fairly primitive. There is hot water, power, no wifi (and cell signal is extremely weak). They provided dinner which was ok, but easily the least good meal that I had in over a week in Morocco (very bland & basic).
