Spectacular, dream place. I would return a thousand times more!!!

Everything from the moment we checked in was amazing. The entire staff was so welcoming and accommodating . We had the best massages. The food was delish. I can honestly say it a perfect vacation. Bacalar is truly Majestic.

Only 16 rooms, each with a great view of Lake Bacalar. You can swim or kayak right off the dock. Quiet and safe neighborhood with little traffic. The food was excellent and the service from the staff was even better, particularly Sharón. The location is great but you need a taxi go into town for other dining options. Short 10 minute walk to Cenote Azul.

We didn’t have a lot of time in Bacalar and wanted to stay by the lake somewhere relaxed. Amainah was nice and comfortable new hotel with beautiful views. All the staff members were friendly and helpful, especially Jonathan and others in the restaurant. We were happy with our choice to stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

We would have given 5 star for all the fields however the hotel does not have onsite parking (on the adjacent streets) and also it is a bit noisy (construction work and national road nearby) but that is “normal” in a fast growing town like Bacalar. The staff (Ricky “Ricardo” in particular) were very good and the room was cleaned at a very high standard. Breakfast was excellent and the free and easy use of the kayaks made the staying a very good one

Staff was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. Our room was a decent size and great views of the lake. Free kayak was the best. Only problem we had was on our last night, people next to our room got loud and you can definitely hear.

This property is beautiful, convenient everything is walking distance and the lagoon view from our room was mind blowing. I think the only thing they are lacking is that the staff don’t speak English, the food menu is not that selective and it’s expensive luckily for you there’s restaurants on walking distance from the hotel with better prices and great food. Over all I do recommend this hotel .

Amazing location right at the lagoon; easy parking out front; great service. We used their breakfast as well as the ability to use their kayaks. We wished we could have stayed longer.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights as part of a leg of our honeymoon and we loved it! It’s a beautiful small hotel with an amazing view to the lagoon. Their walk out deck is great for easy access to the water. We swam out far into the aqua blue part of the lake and felt safe doing so. The hotel staff provided us with floaters. We enjoyed the intimate nature of this place and at times it felt like we were there alone. Staff was very attentive to us and friendly. The restaurant food was good too!

Great service and cool architecture. Delicious reasonably priced food and drink. Very attentive staff. Right on the water with a nice dock. In a quieter part of town. End of November is the low season.

For us it was a magic place at bacalar. Very quiet and very nice staff. Only thing we didn't like are the additional costs. There could be more customer service for the price of the accomodation.

We loved everything about this property. I would have rated everything at five stars. However, they fell short of their customer service on our last day. All the wait staff and bartenders were amazing and very helpful. The front desk staff were great too until we had our big issue with our airport ride. They told us they booked it. It did not arrive at the arranged time. We could have missed our flight. I asked staff more than three times if they were sure they had booked it at 6:15 am and they kept on saying yes. It is not easy to find a cab in Bacalar and Uber doesn't have a lot of availability at all. The main issue here too is that there is no one manning the front desk until 7am except for who I deemed was security. He was not privy to anything about front desk work and arrangements and could not speak English. There is really no one to contact before 7am. What if there was an emergency? And in our case, we needed a ride. He didn’t even have a number for a cab company. Needless to say, staff finally came a bit before 7pm in a cab so we jumped into her cab and luckily made our flight. The hotel is around 35-40 mins to Chetumal airport. Luckily there was no traffic. I was hugely disappointed at the very end as everything was A plus until the event. I hope they can remedy this shortcoming for other guests. Front desk needs staff 24/7.

It’s amazing from a to z specially if youre on a relaxing trip

Staff was amazing. Very friendly and attentive. Perfect for a romantic get away. The food was delightful.
