The breakfast buffet, prepared by two very attentive staff members, deserves special mention. Thank you for that. The arrival, handled by the hotel manager, was unsatisfactory. He lacked any friendliness. My single room was very poorly heated. I was offered a radiator. Dinner in the restaurant was a disappointment. Dry pork tenderloin (€26), side of fries (€4). The price-performance ratio is not right. A glass of Dornfelder (€8), an espresso (€4). It's a real shame that the quality has declined so much. This was my third time staying here. The service used to be excellent and not unfriendly like the manager. Next time I'll choose a different hotel. But next time I will choose a different hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alte Muehle. The room was comfortable, and dinner and breakfast were delicious and very satisfying. One perk of this hotel was that we could get coffee all day. We really appreciated that. The manager, David, is a lovely person and made sure that everything was great.

Right at the entrance to a park…. So pretty! The staff was terrific. Enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Room was great and very comfortable.

Excellent visit! We enjoyed our stay for three nights in Alte Mühle very much. We were given an upgraded, very large studio suite. Breakfast buffet was very nice, all of their personnel were lovely and helpful. Bad Bertrich is a quiet village with restaurants and a rather close drive to Beilstein, Cochem and Bernkastel-Kues.

Oh my word what a beautiful place! We have just spent a wonderful couple of hours on the terrace with the new manager David tasting some of the superb wines from the Stefan Prüm local vineyard. Having a sommelier share his knowledge of great wine and food , along with the fabulous views from the terrace made this a very special visit. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Bad Bertrich within a short walk of the beautiful thermal spa makes this the perfect location in the quiet spa town . A very special place to stay, and a wonderful alternative to the hustle and bustle of the towns on the busier Moselle. Can’t wait to come back and stay in the newly renovated rooms!

Super nice, cozy hotel in a quiet area within walking distance to most activities. The service was excellent and the food absolutely delicious. Very clean. We loved the super comfy beds. Lots of great hiking, golfing and relaxation in the region. We’ll definitely be back!
