A nice inn located in a great central location in Bad Goisern. The restaurant is very good and breakfast room and breakfast itself are great. Our room was a little small but had a balcony overlooking the town and the Alps (past the roofs!). A pleasant place to stay for a night or two with a very welcoming and warm staff and owner.

We might have been lucky, but when we arrived the owner gave us a free upgrade to a fantastic large room: 2 sitting areas, a large balcony, an extra bedroom and a fantastic modern bathroom with rain shower. The breakfast was also fine, there were options to order additional (hot) dishes. The hotel's location is great: the coziest part of Bad Goisern maybe small, but fortunately the hotel is located right in it. The train station is also at walking distance: handy in case you want to visit Hallstatt. The Dachstein Mountains can also be reached from Bad Goisern by public transport: train to Obertraun and from there a bus to the cable car. Bad Ischl (a nice and historically interesting place) is also nearby by train. All in all a highly recommended !!

We picked this hotel while hiking in the region. This is a simple hotel for a good nights rest. The rooms are small, no AC, and a bit noisy by the main roadway. The breakfast was solid and the main restaurant did a good job at night - they have a very good chef! We had a few after dinner drinks in the bar and the bartender was very pleasant to chat with about the area. He was 4th generation from Bad Goisern, so he knew alot about the area.

I stayed at the Hotel Moserwirt for 4 days at the end of February 2022. everything was just great, you feel very warm and friendly welcome there. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, in a very nice room, and there was always a delicious cake with the coffee from the Jura machine. Hannes, the boss, reads every wish from your lips. The staff is also extremely professional and friendly. The hotel is an absolute recommendation!

The hotel is very centrally located in Bad Goisern. From here you can start some activities. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and everything is very clean and tidy. We had a suite, which is very spacious and also very tastefully decorated. Bathroom and toilet are separate. We had a very nice bathtub and the bathroom is also spacious. There was also a second bedroom, as well as a comfortable seating area, 2 sofas and a workspace for a laptop, etc. There was plenty of storage space. There is also a very long balcony. The mattresses were great, you could sleep very well. The entire team is very friendly and accommodating. Here all wishes that you can fulfill are also fulfilled. Here you are not only king, but also emperor as a guest. Simply great to feel good. The breakfast is also great, varied and something for everyone. You can also have various egg dishes freshly prepared. Quality and taste very good. Dinner is really great too. The portions aren't exactly small. Here, too, the quality and taste are simply top-notch. Here we cook with love. Kudos to everyone. You're doing a super job and if you don't feel comfortable with you, it's your own fault.
