We booked a little apartment with breakfast, which gave the luxury of a hotel combined with the freedom of an apartment with a small kitchen, a fridge and an upstairs bedroom. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast buffet was very good and the coffee was strong, as it should be. The view was stunning and one gets a free train/bus/boat pass to go around for hikes.

At first we were put in a room in an adjacent building at ground level with the path behind the hotel. We would not have been able to open our window so we asked for a different room. They offered one on the 4th and 5th floors facing the river. Despite carrying our suitcase up 5 floors these were both much better. We were concerned about the train but with the window closed at night we never heard it. I think we could have left one of the windows open. Room was basic, no fridge and it took about 20 minutes minimum to get hot water in the shower. They did give us ice at night for drinks.

I was in the restaurant for dinner, unannounced and very pleasantly surprised. The customer service was excellent and the menu varied with a regional accent. There is something for every taste. The price-performance ratio is reasonable and the restaurant is recommended.

Es gibt viele Ausflugsziele in der Nähe. Das Frühstück war gut, Abendessen kann man in der näheren Umgebung besser. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist einfach. Im Internet steht mit Minibar, gibt aber nicht mal einen Kühlschrank.

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Lage, der Parkplatz ist ca. 200m entfernt. Personal war sehr freundlich, wenn auch im Gasthaus ein wenig gestresst. Zimmer hatte leider keinen Schreibtisch für kleine Arbeiten. Schlafkomfort war ok. WLAN ok. Einrichtung ist schon ein wenig altbacken. Frühstücksbuffet war grundsätzlich ok, aber der Orangensaft ist verdünnt was für mich nicht ok ist. Abendessen im Gasthaus war ok, aber hier darf man sich nicht allzu viel erwarten.

Wir haben hier eine Übernachtung zu zweit für Wanderungen in der sächsischen Schweiz gebucht. Das Parken vor dem Hotel ist angenehm und kostenfrei. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 3. OG im Dachgeschoss und dementsprechend niedrig waren die Decken. insbesondere im Bad hatte man als mittelgroßer Mensch schon arge Probleme dort aufrecht zu stehen und in dem sehr engen Bad sich zu bewegen. Im Zimmer selbst lag überall Staub und die Einrichtung war sehr einfach gestrickt. Für eine Nacht also ausreichend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend und etwas abwechslungsreich, allerdings kein Highlight. Für eine Nacht haben wir knapp 100 € gezahlt, was definitiv viel zu teuer für die Ausstattung dieses Hotels ist!
