The hotel was wonderful, the facilities were great, and the staff were very friendly and polite. Our stay was very pleasant, and we didn't want to leave. There was a good variety of food, including gluten-free options. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

We spent a week at Is Serenas Badesi in August 2026 with our one and a half year old daughter, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The accommodation was comfortable and well maintained, the sandy beach was beautiful, and the All Inclusive food was genuinely good, with plenty of variety. What really makes this resort special is how well it caters to families. The facilities for children are excellent, and the daily entertainment programme is very well organised. Every evening started with a show for the children, followed by entertainment for adults. The evening shows for adults were of surprisingly high quality, making the programme enjoyable for the whole family. There is one more thing I would like to mention. After returning home, our daughter lost the resort’s ladybug mascot plush toy, which she had become very attached to. We contacted the resort to ask if it would be possible to send us a replacement to the Czech Republic. The team kindly arranged everything, and the parcel arrived with stickers and a handwritten letter for our daughter. They even sent her a short video greeting. None of this was expected, but it meant a lot to us. It really shows how much the people working at this resort care about their guests. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back!

We stayed as Prestige Guests in September for 10 days we enjoyed out holiday over all but felt let down by a few things . We stayed in room 12 lovely big room by the prestige pool that was had great service at the bar pool towels changed every evening but the prestige dining room was ok we had the same table each night which was fine the service there wasn't that great the first two days we had water on the table they took our drinks order and brought them to out table. The rest of the 8 days we had to fend for ourselves with no glasses on the table at breakfast we had to hunt for paper cups instead no wine glasses on the table this was really disappointing .food was average for us brits i cant say anymore than that we didnt starve but didnt eat a lot. The bigger pool was lovely and the hot weather helped with the holiday top bar was ok it did cater for the italians and thier coffee and they did serve Italians first the entertainment was in italian as well you just have to accept it. We felt like were ignored quite a lot but not much you could do about it. The sea was lovely and we had bed 14 right at the back slight on a hill the beds weren't flat we couldn't cope with that and could have probably asked for better beds but as the sand was at an angle most beds sloped it just wasn't for us . The hotel was on close down for the season so it felt like they weren't attentive a shame as the hotel is really lovely also the walk to the Beach was a nice walk there were planty of activities . The food and service let it down. I love Sardinia but perhaps i would try another part of the island

My husband and I are currently staying at Is Serena’s Badesi Resort. My first advice is don’t pay extra for the Prestige upgrade if you’re going in September !!! We have paid for the upgrade thinking we would get a choice of restaurants and table service in the prestige only restaurant, WRONG. The only restaurant open is the buffet, there is a section for the prestige which means you get your own table but the restaurant is crammed to the rafters. You have to queue at every station to get your food, which means by the time you get back to your table everything on your plate is cold !!! I asked if they catered for Gluten Free, they said yes and showed me to a station that had plain boiled pasta, boiled ice , tomatoe sauce and a pesto sauce. This must be the only holiday that I’m losing weight on.! Don’t get me wrong, the hotel itself is lovely, rooms are great, beach is beautiful, staff are great, but paying extra for something that stops in September is wrong. We picked this hotel knowing that it was in the middle of nowhere, but had a good choice of restaurants and paid for the upgrade to be able to use them freely as having a lovely relaxed meal at the end of the day is a big part of our holiday. Unfortunately that isn’t what we have got ☹️

Very nice and clean sea, but the beach was quite crowded. When the sea was too stormy, we visited the pool, which was overcrowded with children although it was outside the holiday season. Food was of varying quality: some days absolutely wonderful, some days more like in a children's summer camp. Not recommended for a gluten-free diet due to the very limited choice. Be careful if you have any food allergies, as there were some mislabeled products — lactose-free milk is NOT vegan!! The dining room was sadly over-air-conditioned, and it was not possible to sit outside. We did not appreciate drinking water from paper cups during breakfast. It was an all-inclusive resort, but we were forbidden to take water into our own bottles, while the tap water was not drinkable — how are you supposed to solve this? When thirsty at night, should I go in my nightgown across the whole resort to the available water container? The most troublesome thing was the room cleaning service: some days it was totally absent, while on other days it took place during siesta time, when we wished to nap a bit. Our room was permanently full of sand because there are no showers on the beach. Be careful: the promised "free towels for the beach" meant a single towel for the whole stay, and it was necessary to pay a deposit. (Oh, how I miss free beach towels in other localities, with a fresh and dry one available each and every day and truly free.) The internet connection was unstable and one day was completely absent for most of the day, which was quite unpleasant as I was trying to work on my PC at that time. The first night, when we were bone-tired after a long journey, we were repeatedly woken up by power outages, accompanied by terrible, sharp light burning into our eyes — truly a horrendous experience!! The rooms do not have a view of the sea. There was quite loud ventilation noise all night, and it was not possible to switch it off. The air conditioning inexplicably switched on during the day and sometimes even during the night, which was very unpleasant. There were ants in our room and even Clogmia albipunctata flies (bathroom moth flies) in our bathroom and in the beach toilets, indicating poor overall hygiene.

This was a little bit to remote for us as there was no shops bars or restaurants within walking distance to visit for a change of scenery .There is three shops on site a little bit expensive. Food was good no complaints. Rooms were a good size for the two of us , Cleaned every day and clean towels. Had to ask several times for clean cups. Fridge restocked once a day. Entertainment was okay. Every one was friendly. If you want to chill out this is for you. Just a little bit to remote.

This was our second stay in this hotel but sadly the last one. We initially stayed in Is Serenas Badesi last year and we quite enjoyed it. We decided to come back this year and rent a car and explore the island. We would not be coming back. In comparison to last year it went downhill massively. Food was nowhere near up to standard, no variety, cold, with flies everywhere. Items such as cheeses, cold cuts or seafood should be presented refrigerated not in an open buffet bar! There was no themed nights, and really basic composition of each dish. Not to mention either the food or water gave us food poisoning as both of us were room bound for 2 days with somach cramps, nausea, diarrhoea. Management never acknowledge the issue, yet we met a few other couples who experienced the same and the queue to resorts doctor was rather large. They turned off drinking water source and provided carton replacements. Prestige pool area was closed for one morning without explanation. We can only imagine it was due to some contamination. We had prestige room but honestly there is very little prestige about it! WiFi worked terribly this time round, one and off all the time, completely unrealisable. There used to be free ice cream at the beach and pool area last year, this year you had to pay for ice cream. The only reason we’ve given it 3 stars is because staff is lovely, and it’s not their fault how hotel is managed. Also beach is stunning and hotel grounds are immaculately kept. But due to bad experience we will not be coming back. We will hopefully come back to Sardinia next year, just not to Is Serenas Badesi.
