We stayed here for six nights and loved this hotel. Our room was called Scarlet Rose and it was stunning. It was large and well thought out. We were lucky enough to have a dual aspect room with a balcony overlooking a small park which was lovely. Both the bedroom, the guest areas and the breakfast room were charming and the staff matched this. Dino, at breakfast, made the best cappucino so take him up in his offer when he asks if you'd like one....you'll be hooked! There are bus stops right outside the hotel and a great shopping centre across the square which contains a large supermarket. There are nice restaurants close by too. We couldn't fault this small hotel and strongly recommend it for those wanting an authentic italian getaway.

A great place to stay just on the outskirts of Florence. Easy regular buses to catch there and back, we walked it most of the time. Rooms very clean and tidy, continental breakfast had a good choice. The staff make this. The staff are very friendly and make it an even better place to stay.

Small hotel which allows it to be different from modern standardised ones, rooms especially. Very small intimate breakfast room. A bit out of town, but plenty of buses

A small hotel conveniently situated within a short bus ride to Firenze city centre. There is a secure car park located nearby, so we did not use our car during our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A lovely buffet breakfast was served in a cozy tea room. There is no restaurant but there are plenty of places to dine in the area, including a very good restaurant next to the hotel.

An awkward building with stairs to reception, no communal space and a tight breakfast room. Bedrooms are comfortable and quirkily decorated. Location is well out of town but on a great and cheap bus route. The negatives of the property itself are trivial when set against wonderful owners and staff. Dint expect coffee and milk in the room to be replenished over the weekend though - the only point that irritated.

The hotel was wonderful! The staff was helpful with helping navigate the public transit and booking transportation. It is close to a few bus stops that will get you to the historic center quickly. The staff was kind and welcoming. We had the ******* VIP upgrade for our room and it was amazing. The breakfast had several options and was delicious. Would come back!

Very friendly and kind staff, warm atmosphere, nice location especially if you have a car. We enjoyed the evenings at the small salon. Ideal for couples who want to visit Florence without to stay in the city centre.

Very well run hotel. Everything that you need for a stay in Florence. Beds were comfy. Room spacious with a nice feeling. Bathroom was small but well appointed. Staff very helpful with recommendations and travel instructions. Much more in keeping with the Italian atmosphere than more modern souless hotels. There is a huge supermarket opposite which is very useful. Getting the bus to town and back was simple and cheap with a stop outside or one behind the supermarket. We bought tickets from the supermarket cashier and from the hotel reception. Also the Cotton Bar opposite was great value. Will definitely stay again.
