Newtown Plaza Hotel Reviews

The hotel itself is nice, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The amenities are fine and the room met expectations. Unfortunately, the guest service needs improvement. We arrived at 7:30 PM and our room was still not ready. We were asked to wait, but there were no updates unless we repeatedly asked, which was inconvenient after a long trip. There was also an issue with Netflix being logged in under another guest’s account. When we asked if it could be logged out, we were bluntly told it couldn’t be done, without any effort to assist or offer alternatives. A more service-oriented response would have made a big difference. Overall, the hotel has good facilities, but better staff training and guest handling are needed to improve the stay.

nice hotel with breakfast buffet and heated swimming pool good for family bonding, unfortunately the staff was not that friendly and the bellman seems like you need to give him a tip after his service and also the receptionist but I would like to commend the housekeepers, lifeguard and parking staff for always greeting us. I would definitely come back because of the hotel amenities

Convenient location, Easy to get public Transport. Several restaurants nearby too.

The staffs are all friendly, helpful and kind. Hotel location is very convenient and accessible to all tourist attractions.

Room description not indicated (no view or miuntainview) unlke with other booking app. Our room was noisy because of the exhaust. It was hot in the room and with poor ventilstion.

Great place to stay in Baguio

Pros: Good location, a grocery store and restaurant downstairs, and the restaurant can arrange room delivery (I'm not sure if all of them do). The breakfast buffet is okay. Cons: Every time I passed the lobby, there were always a lot of people. I wondered if they were restaurant guests waiting for food or something else. There were a lot of staff standing outside, all chatting. On the day of check-in, I parked my car and carried my suitcase, but no one asked if I wanted to check in. I foolishly joined the line, which turned out to be for the restaurant. There was no drinking water in the room, and the room phone number was marked "0." The front desk is 24 hours, but no one answered once during my three-day, two-night stay. That night, when I went out, I asked a waiter in the lobby for water and towels, but when I came back, nothing was available! The guest parking is free, and you're given a slip, but you have to show it every time you enter or exit. Why can't they write down the guest's license plate number for easier access? I've stayed at other hotels/B&Bs in Baguio, and they don't have this hassle. Furthermore, both guests (presumably dining at the restaurant) and guests park in the same parking lot, leaving guests without parking. I asked the parking attendant if the elevator in the parking lot could reach the lobby, but I was told it was up the stairs. When cleaning your room, you have to show a sign, or it won't be cleaned. But the sign is in the closet
