Motel 6 Bakersfield, CA - South

Love the staff p....a lot of things near by...will be back soon

This hotel seems great from the front , until you walk in and realize that the hotel is ****** against small framed Caucasian women. They make up their own rules as they go. Rules that are not listed on their website. Every person who enters the property must have an ID that can be scanned into the system, and if you don't have one you can't be there . So I've paid for my room, have my id, but my husbamd who doesn't have one due to a ticket is not allowed to enter my room ! Absolutely absurd, I understand them needing to know who will be at the hotel but to have to scan every guest is nowhere listed on their website , this apps website, or anywhere else online that I've been able to locate . Terrible terrible customer service here! I would not recommend to anyone

Hotel was amazing place is quiet room was clean

Sketchy area. Door to room did not close properly. People in nearby rooms yelling and arguing. Did not stay. Promptly left and went to another hotel.

I was in room *** and the room next to me was fighting all night! The man that had the room his wife showed up and found him cheating with an underage girl and she broke the window and tried opening my door. It was a horrible experience

The place is not good because the bed is uncomfortable. The environment is not so good too.

Booked a nonsmoking room and every room apparently is a smoking room even if it was label as nonsmoking. Checked out 2 hours after arriving.

Even though the room had a label of non-smoking, the room had a definite cigarette, smoking, smell embedded in the walls, the drapes, shower curtain, etc. No signs of animal damage. The refrigerator and microwave was a definite plus because the ice machine is by the office so you couldn’t keep anything cold on ice. Fine for a one night day when traveling.
