Lovely hotel in central location. We stayed in one of the suites, the room was very large and well equipped, all to a high standard. Good breakfast in the downstairs restaurant. Seperate car park opposite offering long stay options. We stayed as a family group with 3 different rooms, all were excellent quality.

This is genuinely our favourite hotel in the Peak District. After staying in different areas we have found H Boutique to be the most comfortable stay in the Peak District. The hotel is spotless and you always get a friendly welcome. The rooms are so comfy and have aircon. The beds are huge and super comfy. The food was decent when we ate in the restaurant. We can’t fault it and will continue to return.

We stayed 2 nights in the H Boutique Hotel. What a lovely place, I would highly recommend it. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and we liked the style and decor. It was very relaxing. There is a fridge in the room and it has coffee and tea making facilities. The location is perfect and very central for exploring the Peak District. The staff and owner were very friendly and super helpful. Make sure you read the recommendations for parking, it is quite easy. Breakfast was not included but good and reasonable.

We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Situated right at the centre of historic Bakewell, it makes a great base for exploring Chatsworth, Haddon etc. The front of house service is second to none. The owner bent backwards to engage with our little boy and make him/us feel welcome. Our room was enormous and the bed super comfy. There is paid parking just across the road. We booked dinner elsewhere and the food was abysmal. We arrived back at the hotel and even though the kitchen was due to close, the owner and chef kindly whipped up something for us to eat. Customer care really sits at the heart of this hotel. We’re only sorry we only booked to stay one night. We’ll absolutely book again next time we’re in the area

The good: pick up phone calls quickly, lovely location (very central to Bakewell) , nice decor, spacious room, very clean interior (smelt fresh paint), easy accessibility to 2nd floor via a lift. The bad: unfortunately a lot which is why I only gave this place two stars. Thermostat had a mind of its own and buttons did not work. Very frustrating and had to get up all night to try fix it. Mattress had seen better days - it was dipped in the middle and wasn’t comfortable. I know this one’s to everyone’s taste but they have definitely been used a lot and might be better off replacing. Parking - I got there around 8 and was told to park at the agricultural Centre. This was about a 4 mins drive away and it was pitch black. When I got there, not one car parked there in sight. There was no way I would park there at night (paying) and walk over the bridge. Very unsafe. I ended up street parking luckily and didn’t walk too much. Much safer. Last but not least, asked for a half hour late checkout only to be told by the not so accommodating person at reception that 11 is that latest they could do unless I pay. I found that both odd and unnecessary. Would I stay here again? No. I would rather try a different place that is more accommodating and cares about its guests comfort.

Great location, and fabulous rooms, with everything you'd expect. The Jacuzzi bath was perfect to unwind in after several hours on the dales, sadly lacking in proper shower facilities though. The restaurant menu was a little disappointing, but there are more than enough places to choose from locally. The only real disappointment was the early morning wake up, with the housekeepers having a long chat outside our door, and the vacuuming of the corridors at 9.00am when we really wanted a lie-in. Would come back though

We stayed here for our anniversary and was greeted by David. He was welcoming and showed us to our room. Room was on the second floor, very spacious with a lovely sized bed and bathroom. Water and tea/coffee facilities were also available. The only downside was because we were located next to the lift, it was quite loud every time it moved up and down. Luckily, because it’s a small boutique hotel, it didn’t make much noise during the night! But try and request a room away from the lift if you can! Staff were polite and friendly. We didn’t have breakfast or dinner in the restaurant area but it looked like a lovely space. The hotel is located right in the heart of Bakewell and across from the long stay carpark. Would definitely recommend buying the 3 days pass, as this means you can also park at other locations if doing the trails (this is explained when you book). We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again in the future!

Seems like a nice place. We popped in for coffee and cake but the lady who greeted us at the door and served us was very rude and awfully moody. I know it can’t be helped sometimes but she made us and others feel really awkward. She was very rude even as people left and said thank you or goodbye, she ignored them.
