Modern Hotel Baku

Overall, the stay was good and the staff were helpful. However, the breakfast options were very limited and the same items were served every day. The Wi-Fi was also very slow. We requested a room change, and the morning staff confirmed that it would be arranged by the time we returned from our sightseeing. But when we came back, nothing had been prepared. This was very disappointing.

Whether it was arranging extra pillows or offering timely assistance, they anticipated our needs with a smile.   The food was a highlight of our trip – some of the best we’ve ever had at a hotel! The breakfast spread was lavish, with fresh, flavourful options, and dinner menus offered a delightful mix of local and international dishes. Every meal felt like a gourmet experience!   Traveling with a toddler can be challenging, but Modern Hotel Baku made it effortless. They provided fresh milk for our little one at various times of the day without hesitation, and even offered snacks tailored for kids. The staff’s patience and willingness to accommodate our needs (like high chairs or kid-friendly utensils) made us feel completely at ease.     For the level of service, amenities, and quality we received, the price was unbelievably reasonable. It’s rare to find such affordability paired with luxury – this hotel nails it!   Modern Hotel Baku is a gem for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. Their attention to detail, dedication to guest satisfaction, and focus on creating a welcoming environment for children set them apart. We left feeling pampered, well-fed, and already planning our next visit!   It's hardly at distance from Nizami Street/Little Venice/Daniz Mall/Old Baku/Carpet Museum all at max 3-4Manat taxi fare.   – if you’re heading to Baku, look no further than this hotel. The staff was great! They assisted me with many taxis and even helped me order late night food. The room service food was phenomenal as well. The breakfast quality varied but had a variety of things. Now, the room. My tv was broken and shifted the colors on screen like it was a prism in a tornado. My lights didn’t work for about a day and the room was next to the elevator. Location was a bit out of the way, but at least taxis are cheap!

Excellent service and hotel was very clean. There was a limited breakfast but it was ok. The location was quite far away from the metro and old part of the city

Good hotel. Only downside - rooms were not at all soundproof.

The hotel is located within the city, around 30 minutes drive from the airport. The breakfast was very average. The Air conditioning was really bad in the rooms, we had to change to a smaller room because of that. the furniture is chipped off. There were no pillow covers. I had to ask housekeeping to come and change all the dirty sheets again and when she came she gave me the covers and asked me to change the pillow covers myself (pathetic service). In short - the modern hotel is not modern anymore.
