The building used to be a harbor staff dormitory and has been thoughtfully renovated into a boutique hotel. The design blends industrial elements with modern minimal touches, giving the space a calm and slightly artistic atmosphere that fits perfectly with the surrounding Pier-2 district. Our room was simple but very comfortable. The bed was cozy, the room was clean, and everything felt well maintained. While the hotel focuses more on design and location than luxury facilities, it provides everything you need for a pleasant stay. Some rooms even offer partial views of the harbor, which adds to the experience of staying in this port city. Another great advantage is transportation. The Light Rail stop is only a few minutes away, making it easy to reach other parts of Kaohsiung such as Love River, Central Park, or connect to the MRT system. Overall, PAPO’A Harbor Hotel is a lovely boutique stay for travelers who appreciate design, convenience, and a relaxed harbor atmosphere. It may not be a large luxury hotel, but its charm, location, and unique character make it a memorable place to stay in Kaohsiung."

"We stayed 5 days in Taichung for our pre-wedding shoot, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. Just a 10-minute walk to Wernar Wedding, and everything else we wanted to explore was nearby. Morning strolls to Third Market for breakfast, a sweet stop at Miyahara for ice cream, a fun baking session at the Sun Cake Museum, and night walks to Yizhong Market for food. Loved how walkable everything was! The only bad thing is that there is not enough space to open luggage."

"The location is good, very close to Bok 2, within 10 minutes walk, there is a night market outside the hotel on Saturday very convenient, unfortunately when checking in encountered heavy rain, many stalls are not open. The hotel to take the light rail/orange line MRT is within 10-15 minutes walk, which is convenient. Unfortunately, there is no convenience store nearby, but it is quite close to walk to Quanlian on the 2nd side. Each floor of the hotel has a water machine with hot and cold water supply, enough charging positions in the room, there are many TV stations to choose from, the shower is powerful enough, the air conditioning is cold enough. However, after turning on the air conditioner, the vent cover plate on the ceiling of the bed would be ****** up a little, which was a bit strange, however it did not fall off without much attention."
