Taipei Hotels with Balcony

"This was the one of the most ”budget friendly” hotels I could find in Taipei. I'll be honest, the hotel room was quite old. Everything felt dated. There was a strange control panel next to the bed that I couldn't really figure out. The couch was old and had lots of stains, the room had a musty smell, and even saw some small bugs on the carpet... The bathroom was alright though, seemed quite clean, maybe more recently rennovated compared to the rest of the room. Front desk service was great."

"The room was excellent, very quiet, and had a beautiful view. There's also an observation deck on the tenth floor. However, breakfast was a chaotic mess due to all the Japanese school groups. Plus, it was entirely vegetarian with no meat options. This should really be made clear beforehand, otherwise customers won't know."

"This hotel is right next to Taipei Main Station. After getting off the Airport MRT, just exit to street level, look for Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, and it's in the building right next to it. It's a 7-10 minute walk, so the location is super convenient, and you can store your luggage. The room has enough space. There are 4 power outlets 🔌, and even a Hong Kong-style three-pin plug, which is very convenient. It's incredibly easy to get to any MRT accessible attractions. The staff are friendly and very helpful, enthusiastically offering suggestions for great food routes."

"It's my husband's birthday when I checked in. All the staff were very helpful and sweet. They decorated the room and wrote a birthday card personally to my husband. My husband was very pleased. Location is perfect for all travelers. All staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Their smiley face light up your days. Excellent."

"The location is excellent, and Taipei Main Station is a 15-minute walk away. The hotel was also renovated in 2019, and the interior is bright, clean, and modern. In addition, the counter provides 24-hour service and luggage storage. If you need to do some laundry, there is a washing machine and a dryer on the basement level (1/F). There is also a lounge area providing free snacks, cup noodles, coffee and drinks for guests to enjoy. The public space on the guest room floor also has a corner for guests to relax, and the overall feeling is warm and relaxing. In addition to a blue sofa chair, there is also a small wooden table and a floor lamp, where you can pick up some books from the bookshelf next to it to read. Booked Rose Family Quad Room, excluding breakfast (HKD 2470.93/3 nights) Average price per night: HKD 823.65. The room was quite spacious and could accommodate two queen beds with plenty of room to move around. You can watch YouTube on the TV, and there are cups and bottled water on the long desk. There are also kettles, mini refrigerators, safes and other equipment, and all the basic facilities are complete. The space is so spacious that the sink, toilet and shower are completely separate. It is very convenient to use and there is no need to worry about affecting each other's usage time. There is also a bathtub to choose from, which is a nice plus point considering the similar price."

"The hotel is actually so incredible. I didn’t have a lot of expectations as I booked it very last minute however the room is huge with an amazing location. Super close to all the popular things to do in ximending. A hotel itself was also feeling quite new in my room, had a balcony, which was even nicer and the unlimited drink and snack on level two really made the experience as you get to taste lots of ********* snacks and drinks for free just at the hotel. there’s also laundry machines and the staff here are very helpful and easy to communicate with. For the price, I cannot imagine how the other hotels in this area best this one."

"The hotel has a good location just about one block from a metro station. The room was spacious and well appointed and well maintained. HOWEVER, the room had what I describe as a bizarre bathroom. There is a sort of combination bathtub and shower BUT there is no door or curtain so other parts of the bathroom get splashed while you take a shower. In addition, while the shower has both body wash and shampoo, there is no soap or soap dispenser at the sink. And you can't simply reach over to the body wash in the shower/tub area. You literally need to climb into the shower/tub area to get some soap to wash your hands and/or face. That's just silly. In addition, while the service was good and quite responsive when a hotel indicates in its materials that one of the languages they can use to communicate with guests is English, I think it is reasonable to expect that several staff members can in fact do so. In my experience there was only one staff member, or perhaps it was the manager, and he was generally there in the afternoon and evenings. Two final comments. The hotel has a variety of materials, in different languages, like a Taipei city map available for guests. Very helpful. Finally, the breakfast was just average."

"The front desk staff provided excellent service with detailed explanations and great patience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. A very pleasant stay overall. Location is very wise at just location right behind Raohe night market and it’s very near to MRT station of Song shan exit 1/2."
