"Stopped with his wife from 7 to 11 March 2026. Everywhere in all reviews we write at once - do not confuse guest houses and 2-3 star hotels with 5 star hotels. Expectations and impressions should match this. In general the hotel is good. In Tashkent, the price of accommodation is significantly higher than Samarkanda and Bucharest, so you have chosen a sufficiently budgetary option for Tashkent. The hotel has everything you need. They arrived early and asked if you could settle early. Without problems, went to meet, within 3 minutes clarified the information and settled without any extras. Very pleasant! Young people, thank you. Every request was responded immediately and helped. Helped change the money at the normal rate. In the room there was no refrigerator, we asked about the possibility of it to put it and immediately while walking, we brought a good enough large refrigerator - not a mini bar as usual. Help with a taxi driver who took us for adequate money to the mountains. Something else was asked and asked, all helped. Staff excellent. The location is not evaluated, as we went to the city by taxi, it was not fundamental, because anyway from any place of location would have to ride. But there was a shop of Korzinka, excellent cafes and other shoppers, including alcohol. We liked the location and did not go to the central big street with vain. Breakfast 1 time. Breakfast Well as usual for this kind of hotel - you can eat, nothing unusual and bad can't say, cuts, baking, tea, coffee, eggs, something else type of fried omlet, vegetables, etc. , in general normal, you won't stay hungry. The rooms are also quite ordinary, bed, tumba, closet, TV, saucer, split system. Everything works. We liked it all, thank you!"

"This hotel is absolutely stunning, both inside and out. The interior is beautifully adorned with vases, carpets, and elegant wood finishes. The staff were incredibly responsive and helpful. They allowed us to check in early, answered all our questions, and were always ready to assist. Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including combs, shaving kits, toothbrushes, shampoo, and conditioner. The towels, bathrobes, and bed linen were all spotlessly clean. Fresh water was delivered to our room daily. The breakfast was beyond excellent – so diverse and delicious! We enjoyed porridge, sausages, and salads, all incredibly tasty. There was also a great selection of cereals, samsa, plenty of pastries, and yogurts. The fruit selection was amazing, even featuring dragon fruit, delicious cherries, and local apricots. The hotel's location is perfect; it's just about a 10-minute walk to the market and only a couple of minutes to the Hazrat Imam Complex. We are 100% satisfied with our stay and will definitely return if we're ever in Tashkent again! Thank you!"

KKaixuanguilai!nieNew hotel! The twin room had two 1.3m single beds, not the 0.8m ones shown on the website. The draft beer at the lobby bar was good value at around 20 RMB for 0.5 liters. Breakfast was also good. Using a ride-hailing app linked to a credit card was convenient. The service was friendly. It's a 15-20 minute walk to Amir Timur Square, where you can catch the red double-decker hop-on hop-off bus for sights like the Amir Timur Museum, the Grand Bazaar, mosques, and other city attractions. We even ran into a Chinese tour group there.

AAnonymous UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel. The room is exceptionally spacious, and while the decor is a bit dated, it's acceptable, and the cleanliness is good. The hotel has several Chinese staff members, so if you encounter any communication issues, you can always find someone to help. The breakfast is Chinese-style, which is a big plus for travelers who've been eating local cuisine. The Wi-Fi is also decent. Now for some downsides. Firstly, the room I stayed in this time was odd. There was a beam by the bed that was less than 1.7 meters high. This means if you get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and forget about the low beam, you'll undoubtedly bump your head. I suggest they get a designer to reconfigure the room layout slightly. Secondly, there's no desk or chair in the room, making it impossible to work. Thirdly, the fourth floor frequently experiences water outages, while the first and second floors are fine, suggesting a water pressure issue. I had to go to the public restroom on B1 to use the toilet and wash up in the mornings. A Chinese tour guide complained to the front desk, stating this had been happening for two days and her guests wanted to check out and move rooms. The front desk staff just shrugged, saying there was nothing they could do. Finally, I stayed for several days, but at check-out, the small receipt only showed one day (even though I had been in the country for a week). The front desk claimed the system was down. I politely asked if they could provide an alternative document to prove I was registered, as I needed it for customs. I wasn't pushy, but the front desk staff seemed impatient and said they couldn't give me anything since the system was broken. Fortunately, there was a long queue at immigration when I left, and the border control didn't check.

RRafaelluisThe staff are very hospitable and the service is excellent . They go out of their way to satisfy clients and help if you are in need of something . Special shout out to marjona of the breakfast buffet restaurant , she even offered us a coffee to take away and even offered a welcome drink while the one who checked us in offered some advice in touring the city and the bellboy who even offered us a juice while waiting for our yandex car to the airport . The service is like ritz Carlton but a fraction of the price. If i come back in tashkent i will definitely stay again at this hotel.

GGuest UserNice staff and excellent breakfast. As everywhere one should not expect a broad variety of diary products, but one is compensated by fresh vegetables and fruits. Rooms are spacious. Heating only by air condition.

NNomy_dThe location is the best for me ( I do like this part of the city, the modern part) but the hotel itself the room is basic and you will have plenty of noise if you stay on the entrance level (despite I was on 2nd floor but any noise in the reception was coming to my room. The breakfast is fair but they're so slow to replenish and that's why I skipped having breakfast 2 out of 4 times. The most important that in the toilet they don't have (cleaning hose or tap) which you need to clean properly after toilet and that's why I will not stay there again. One more thing they have the hardest mattress i have ever had in a hotel so if you have back problems stay away

FFU WU CHENExcellent stay and essential support for overland travelers! ”I had a great stay at Medina Town Hotel. The room was comfortable and well-maintained. However, what impressed me most was the staff's helpfulness regarding administrative requirements. Since I am traveling to Turkmenistan via the land border, having a proper registration paper (with QR code) is mandatory. The hotel staff was very professional and provided me with the printed registration and a stamped invoice immediately. This gave me great peace of mind for my upcoming border crossing. Highly recommend this hotel for any international travelers, especially those on a transit journey!”

Llfo_12Pros: Close to the metro, markets are within walking distance, as well as a small shopping center with Safiya Cafe and other shops. Our triple room looked nice and luxurious from the outside. Bottled water, toothbrushes, and slippers are provided daily, and bed linen and towels are changed every day. There's a working hammam and a small pool. Breakfasts are mostly repetitive, though some items are occasionally swapped out. There's enough variety to choose from and you can certainly get a good meal. The bathroom has a good hairdryer and drying racks. There's also a small fridge and a kettle in the room. The large wardrobe has shelves on one side and hangers on the other. The hotel has an elevator. Cons: The room left a strange impression, but you get used to it. Specifically, the bathroom door handle was loose, and if you turn off the main light before leaving the room, you can't turn it back on from the hallway. You have to use the switch near the beds (and sometimes re-insert your key card multiple times). One of the bedside lamps didn't work. The hotel is next to some kind of bird enclosure, so you often hear roosters in the morning (it's not disruptive, just a fact if you sleep with the window open). The air conditioner is positioned to the side of the beds, near the pillows but higher up, so you can't sleep with it on at night as it blows directly in your face (just a fact: even at 16°C, it still felt a bit stuffy, even in March). The kettle doesn't turn off automatically; you have to unplug it or lift it off its base. When booking the hammam and pool, they tell you it will be exclusively yours for that time – but several times, two or three rooms ended up being booked for the same slot. Not a con, but a funny fact: during check-in, we weren't informed that the key cards need to be re-magnetized once a week, otherwise you can't get into your room. So when my key card didn't work, I had to go back down to find this out. They fix it quickly, though. Overall, it was a good experience :)

GGuest UserThe room is quite spacious with two large beds. Amenities: Breakfast is provided. If the owner, Brother Jia, hasn't had too much to drink the night before, he'll personally make a Chinese breakfast, which could be noodles, congee, or stir-fried dishes – it varies. Make sure not to go later than 8 AM, or it'll all be gone, and you'll only have Western breakfast left. Cleanliness: It's quite clean. Environment: There's a small river right downstairs, lined with lush green trees. It really captures the beauty of a southern Chinese city! Service: The front desk staff speaks Chinese, and there's a dedicated girl who acts as a translator, so it's a very friendly place. If you're lucky enough to be outgoing, you might try to get some tips from Brother Jia, the owner. He's very generous and straightforward, and you could have many unexpected gains! Plus, they offer airport pick-up service, which is incredibly convenient!

DDariaThe hotel is conveniently located, we only had 4 hours for the walk, but we saw quite a lot) the air conditioning works, tea, coffee, and a kettle in the room) we liked the breakfast, there were fruits, vegetables, and desserts) it was filling and delicious) it also turned out that the price included the pool, it's a pity we didn't have time to visit) shampoo, shower gel, comb, cap, dental kit, and even a sewing kit are provided) in general, even though we stayed only one night, we were satisfied) 😊

EEkaterina EA retro-style hotel. Pros: Good location, close to a metro station, bank, public services center, market, mobile store, and delicious food. Quiet courtyard. There's a water cooler. They ask daily if you need housekeeping. Cons: Bad mattress, the springs are very noticeable, even with a mattress topper. Poor breakfast. The only fresh vegetables are cucumbers. Eggplant and cauliflower are fried in batter. Sausages are cheap. The cheese is processed. For fruit, only apples, and they're bruised. Instant coffee. If you go at 8 AM, the food is fresher; later, it's reheated with added oil, eggs are quickly fried, and the whites remain runny. Lots of pastries, but they're not tasty. In a single room, there's only one cup. No kettle, and the water cooler doesn't have a hot water function. I chose this hotel because I had issues with another booking. I had to choose quickly, and options were limited during the holidays. The hotel offers discounts and bonuses, it seems like management is trying to attract guests. But it would be much better if management reviewed the menu and invested in updating the furniture. Upon check-in, you need to pay an additional tax amount. I paid cash, and they didn't have change. I had to ask for my change several times. They still didn't give me all of it back. So, be prepared with exact change. The hotel has a pool, but in my opinion, the water in it is murky. I didn't use it. And I didn't see it being cleaned. There are two sun loungers by the pool. However, there are large trees around, so sunbathing isn't really possible. Overall, my impression is a 3 out of 5. I wouldn't stay here again.
