The access location, which is still rocky, is rather difficult

This place has an amazing view to Mount Batur and Lake Batur. It is on the road where the trucks are passing for transporting sands and other materials. Sometimes we can hear the roar but only on working hours (morning to eary evening). The road is quit a challenging form some with poor driving skill. This road is not suitable for easy cycling (unless you're a pro). It offers big room which need maintenance in some areas. The main issues in this place is the humidity which cause many walls are peels off. Bathroom almost as big as the room itself. Intalling URINALs on the bathroom would be good for male since it still has plenty of space. Urinal would help male not to pee on the floor hence reduce pee smell in bathroom. This place has unique restaurant called The Kayuan. it is very instagrammable. Food and drinks are so so, but better than most of other place in this area.

In the property there are 4 very simple Villas, spacious room, bathroom and that's it, little decoration and everything very simple and not very clean (tv photos), the views are beautiful, the worst thing is the MOSCAS (Flies) it's impressive, you can't eat ! The plates are filled with them, in the pool you can NOT spend even two minutes because they bother you all the time and there are millions of them everywhere, it's a nuisance. Apart from the flies, the service offered by the hotel is lousy, there is no one in a kind of reception that is in the Bar-terrace, you have to call a phone and after a while someone comes to you... we ask for breakfast almost by signs already that they speak English like I do Indonesian (0)… after much pointing out, what is on the menu, we ask for 2 continental breakfasts (which they offer on the menu for 50k) they bring us only one! I claim and they have forgotten or they haven't found out, mystery, after 45 minutes of clock and putting up with the unbearable flies they bring me my breakfast... oh and there was no one else in the Bar-Restaurate...! Amazing! We didn't even dare to ask for anything else there! Too bad since the place looked good.

【Rainy day ruined my ”stargazing” plan】 600 B&Bs without breakfast, located at the foot of Batur Volcano🌋. When booking, what attracted me was that there was an outdoor hot water ♨️ soaking pool facing the rice fields and the sky full of stars. However, it rained last night, and the outdoor courtyard was wet. Even though the staff lit a bonfire for me, it was still impossible to lie on the outdoor bed. Look at the stars, don't count on it. The hot water for bathing is intermittent. I asked the staff, it turned out that they use gas to boil water (5L), and when the hot water is used up, it will automatically flow into cold water to continue heating. Therefore, the law of bath water should be mastered by oneself, and one needs to be flexible to avoid being scalded by sudden hot water attack. Don't count on taking a bath, 5L of hot water is simply not enough. In the room, it is equipped with a large screen, a projector, and a camping chair (placed under the bed). There is no shortage of romantic facilities. The wifi is too weak, which is equivalent to no. That's how I lost the signal📶. 21:30, the earliest night, turn off the lights and go to sleep. Before going to bed, I suddenly remembered that the staff did not give me the key card, so I called him immediately. People rushed over and said, the key is in the door [fear][fear][fear]. So thrilling! PS: Driving into the villa from the outside road, the dirt road is bumpy, which is a test of the driver's level

Latengaya Mount Batur View Bungalow

The view from every angle was epic. We could see Mt Batur from our bed through 2 large windows and 2 swinging doors, which we’d leave open to enjoy fresh air & nature sounds. We were close enough to explore hiking up Mt Batur safely on our own. All bungalows have a 360 view of mountain range, with sunset views from an open roof deck. Each unit has large balcony where delicious breakfast is served to your liking. We also ate tasty meals in their lovely dark-wood-finished restaurant. We moved here after being stressed at a different guest house in the busier part of Kintamani, which due to its proximity to the lake had hoards flies. We wanted the affordable Balinese “luxuries:” hot water, A/C, WIFI, clean spacious room, comfortable bed, nice pool, hot kettle with tea/coffee, drinking water, AND artistic attention to detail. We were relieved to find all this once we moved to Latengaya Mt Batur, in addition to good vibes thanks to the genuinely caring manager Made and receptionist Opik. They were respectful, attentive, and gracious *without* the too-nice-to-be-true- tourist hustle, aka “hospitality”. I’m glad I didn’t see the review about no hot water, as it may have deterred my choice. Our hot water was *Fine*. Perhaps it was just her room? We were celebrating my sons 11th birthday and our stay here ensured great memories. Two things I especially appreciated: 1) the landscaping was perfect - everything had aesthetic value with zero clutter; 2) The pillows had an extra waterproof liner, which I have never seen (having stayed at 10 accommodations in this price range). The mattresses looked brand new. The stones in the shower were therapeutic for me, and easy to pile to the side if the bare floor was preferred. There are a few local eateries, a billiard hall (pool table), a mini store, and fruit stand all within 5 minutes walk. The reception pointed us in the right direction. The road was very quiet at all hours of the day. We enjoyed on every level & felt relaxed/rejuvenated after our one week stay. Will definitely return. Thank you!
