For the price, good for a night or two as a transit stay. I’ll be reasonable with the review given the low price per night.
I stayed 3 nights, here was my experience:
1. Sewerage smell coming from the toilet on the 2nd night onwards that didn’t go away.
2. Internet is spotty.
3. There is no room service (this is a non-issue for me) so daily cleaning, making the beds are DIY.
4. If it rains heavily, it gets very noisy.
5. Pool has heavy chemicals that may cause a burning sensation on your eyes.
6. If your neighbour smokes or talk loudly, you will hear.
7. There is no proper reception, just a couple of guys on the couch that will greet you and process your check-in. (This isn’t a problem for me).
8. Staff will leave you alone which is a plus for me.
The place is generally quiet, away from the main streets. Lots of restaurants, malls within walking distance (less than 3 mins walk.
Kuta beach is 10 mins away but these days due to soul erosion and beach quality, travellers are moving inland rather than staying for long in Kuta.
It’s about 5-10minutes to the airport (on a bike) and depending on traffic.
