We absolutely loved this hotel, our first time in Sanur. The grounds are huge and incredibly beautiful, like a vast garden. There are two pools: one by the restaurant and another near the reception (we called it the 'frog pond' because people don't really swim there, they just sit and admire the surrounding greenery). The clientele is mostly older Europeans/Americans and families with children; you won't find many young people. You can access the sea directly from the hotel through the beachfront restaurant. By the way, the restaurant is stunningly lit up at night – every evening we felt like we were in a fairy tale (though the prices are a bit steep, of course). We tried the pasta with shrimp (they say they make it themselves, and I believe it), which was tasty, but it only came with 3 shrimp! With tax, it was about 190-200k. Overall, we really enjoyed it. There are lots of cafes along the beach, and the Icon mall isn't far, so there's plenty to do!

The hotel is quite old. The rooms on the first floor are noticeably more humid. They do maintain the hotel and try to keep things tidy. Guinea fowl roam the grounds, which is a charming touch. Housekeeping is daily. There are two swimming pools and a swim-up bar. The worst part about this hotel is definitely the breakfast – it's simply awful. You get a choice of five dishes (chicken sausages, fried chicken, fried mushrooms, beans in sauce, and if you're lucky, rice) that are practically inedible – they just don't taste good. Then there are eggs (omelet, fried egg, boiled egg). The only decent thing is the pastries. Breakfast is served outdoors, so all the food is covered in flies. Swimming in the sea is impossible; it's very dirty. The area around the umbrellas and sunbeds is also extremely dirty and smells due to food and drinks brought from the restaurant. There are tons of cafes built along the coast, and sanitation is a real issue everywhere. Too many boats around too.

Facilities: Pretty solid, a bit dated but well-maintained. Hygiene: The cleanliness was impressive, very thorough, and they follow a great cleaning routine. Environment: The surroundings are beautiful, like staying in a collection of small villas within a huge park right on the beach. Service: The service was very attentive; they met every request. The bellboy was particularly helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and watching the sunrise from the beach was perfect. Oh, and a quick tip, the Xindu Night Market, just a 6-minute walk to the left from the hotel entrance, is also really good.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the hotel has a lovely Balinese style. The villas are small but cozy. There's a long, extensive promenade for walks, and this hotel truly stands out. The food in the restaurant is delicious. Sanur beach, while not as stunning as Nusa Dua, is perfectly suitable for swimming with a child as there are no waves.

What an excellent experience. Upon check-in, I was upgraded to a bungalow. The room was very clean and they provided explicit explanations about the amenities and facility upon check-in. The property is massive and a gorgeous oasis in a big garden with many temples. The restaurant is absolutely delicious. They also have a spa and several pools. I would definitely come here again.

The grounds are beautifully maintained. The restaurant and beachside cafe are tastefully decorated. There are plenty of sun loungers on the beach. Service was good; we received an upgrade to a bungalow. Although we found rooms in this category to be not the most comfortable or new, everything in the room worked perfectly. Breakfast wasn't the hotel's strongest suit; the pastries were tasty, but everything else was an acquired taste, and all the fruits were unripe, though we occasionally got a decent pineapple. Room cleaning was good, with everything replenished, and towels, linens, and amenities replaced. The grounds have a lot of greenery and beautiful lighting at night. There are several swimming pools and tennis courts. The beach area is clean and comfortable, with many cafes nearby.

We booked this hotel last minute after dolphin watching in Lovina and visiting the Ubud Mini Zoo. Most of the guests are Westerners, so the restaurant caters more to Western palates. There's an indoor restaurant and a beachside restaurant. Nearby is ICON BALI, a large mall where you can shop, eat, and exchange currency. We received a welcome drink and a complimentary 15-minute massage. You'll find bugs and ants on the paths around the hotel and in the rooms. The hotel left some small cookies by the bed, which we didn't eat, and they attracted a lot of ants. After we discovered them, we called housekeeping and they came to spray, which helped significantly. Bugs are a common issue at beachside hotels like this. If you're walking around the hotel, I recommend taking the small path next to the restaurant – it leads directly to ICON. Walking from the outside takes a much longer detour.

This isn't my first stay here – it's a great hotel. They upgraded my room, the breakfasts are decent, and the grounds and gardens are absolutely fabulous. There are lots of families with little ones, and plenty of play areas for kids. The Icon shopping center, with tons of restaurants and a supermarket, is also nearby.

Great location, so close to Icon Bali! The room we stayed in was on the second floor, so walking up and down a lot was a bit of a hassle. Still, among the accommodations near Icon Bali, I think this one offers the best value for money and facilities.
