Better than expected. Rough diamond but they are working at it. Ordinary reception service. Air conditioning was on in room to arrive. Good size room but was basic. Breakfast was good but basic. Generous and attentive staff. Good pool. Steps to climb for restaurant and pool area. Food and drinks well priced. Price is right - Bali of old and the other resorts could learn.Save on your hotel as you will spend it elsewhere - if you can google, the locals can do it better and charge accordingly.

Hotel feels more like a chalet. But we just planning to stay for 1 night. Nothing to rave about. Aircon was good though.

Good breakfast , good view, good position, good room, Good swimming pool

The hotel is conveniently located at the beach but the cleanliness of rooms were not upto the mark. Bathroom were unclean and bathtub, bed and other items were very old and lack maintenance.

The hotel near the beach the food tasty and the garden nice.

Nice hotel

The room was not too small, but a mouse came in from the balcony on the second night. After half an hour at the front desk, the problem was solved. The swimming pool is nice and cleaned every day. You can occasionally hear the sound of motorcycles in the back streets at night, and there are birds chirping in the morning. Overall, it is a quiet environment. Nice hot shower. No toothbrush soap slippers hair dryer. The gardens are beautiful.

The sanitation is not very good and it will itch, but the real thing is not bad

Quiet, lots of green shrubs, traditional Balinese furniture, a medium sized swimming pool, a spa area and the hotel is so strategically located near the Airport and walking distance to the beachside. Trees and plants attracts birds, because while eating breakfast, I could see and hear the birds chirping a few tables away.

I stayed for a week right now. I booked it because AAdvantage had a super rate with LPs which was still 3x the regular room rate but a fantastic value for AA Miles. My four star rating is for the value received, not for the category of a western 4 star hotel.Their regular price of around 35$ is really cheap but you get what you pay for. First of all the whole complex is in dire need of renovation. Painting and tiling at least. There are no elevators so it’s a lot of stairs for this tropical climate. The A/C practically just works from the entrance door to half of the remaining room. You get water and a kettle (takes like 7 minutes to heat up 400ml of water,not kidding) but not even one sad package of instant coffee. They advised me to buy it at the supermarket. Well. Apart from this ,people ,staff of the hotel were genuinely friendly and proactive. I got an upgrade to a deluxe room which looked exactly like the superior room except for the canopied bed. And it had no bath tub.Well…. Breakfast crew and reception staff really nice and helpful. Don’t take a room with a connection door as this is exactly what it says: 1 door in between the rooms. You can hear anything (eeewww) going on in the adjacent room. The other guests were mostly friendly elderly couples from Holland that either stayed there since 1582 or do just 6 months long stays. The breakfast was not very exciting but for their regular price of 400K you can’t really ask for much. The pool looks nice and cozy although I never used it. Cleaning staff was always very friendly and helpful. Doing a good and tough job. Recommended if you are after miles or on a budget. It’s around 20 minutes walking from the airport. A taxi isn’t necessary, so don’t get ripped off by the taxi mafia. The price shoukd be maximum 100.000rps or 7$. Even that is already too much. Outside is a beach restaurant and already the beach walk . Not very clean beaches unfortunately. Kutsche has the dirtiest beaches I have ever seen in Asia. Not the hotel’s fault but just good to know! The whole island is far too greedy and mass-touristy for my likes but ok. Hope this review was helpful. Greetings

Quiet, clean, great value! A porter carried my bag to my room and he was a charm. Very clean room with nice private balcony.

First of all, it only cost $45 a night including breakfast in a room with a 40cm tv and air con. You get two dispensers in the shower for shampoo and body wash (I think it was body wash, it didn't have a label). Breakfast was sufficient but not what you'd get at $150 a night resort. There was a choice of egg dishes, 4 hot local dishes, toast and a tray of pastries, salads and one sort of fruit. You get two complimentary bottles of water each day as a bonus. I think this place would have been one of the original hotels and it's looking a bit aged, but then again you're paying less than $A50 a night. It's at a fantastic spot at Pantai Jerman and it's very quiet compared to the craziness of Kuta which is just down the beach a little. If you're into surfing, the boat to Airport Lefts. Middles and Kuta Reef cost $7 return and leaves from across the road to the hotel and there's some awesome warungs on the beach where you can get a meal and a drink for about $8. The staff are lovely. The pool was a treat. I was placed on the second floor, which I would call the third floor. There's no elevator so lugging all my boards up the stairs was a struggle. Would a 62 year old surfer like me stay there again? Most certainly! If I was looking for pure luxury, I'd look elsewhere but you can beat the value, quietness and location of this hotel
