The hotel manager and staff offered me attentive help during an unfortunate experience: I was robbed by a local motorcycle biker at night in the alley of the Monkey Forest (PLEASE DON'T WALK IN AT NIGHT!). However, they arranged for a staff member to drive me to the local police station to assist with translation, and the local police efficiently helped me as well. The following day, my phone was found and the thief was apprehended.
I can't thank the local police and the hotel staff enough for their help
Hope everyone enjoys their trip there while remaining cautious!

A great hotel, this is my second visit - staff are very friendly and helpful. The spa is also really reasonably priced with great treatments.

Room is big and spacious. But there are too many insects in the hotel, especially bugs and geckos. Also, the breakfast buffet is not that good, vegetarian options were also ehh.

We booked the villa for 2 nights and were not aware that the villa was not within the main compound. Nonetheless it was not so much of an issue as there is a buggy service to ferry you to an fro. We were initially worried about monkeys in the villa as it is just next to the Monkey Forest. However, we only encountered a monkey’s presence only once at the villa and it did not disturb us at all.
The resort provides a shuttle service to Ubud Market once a day at 10.30am and a pick up at 5pm. There is a short cut to the villa next to the Monkey Forest entrance using the same path as the motorcyclists. Need to be wary of monkeys eyeing your bags though.
Breakfast is sufficient to start the day. There is a ready to drink water dispenser in the villa. The cleanliness of the villa is acceptable but the other bathroom can make do with a good scrub. There are shower and bathtub in the main bedroom.
Would we come back? Yes, but not at the rate that we had paid for. Understandably we stayed during the super peak period of Hari Raya and rates were double the normal price.

I booked here because my family didn't get a villa. But it's not bad. The rooms are big and clean. There is a spacious terrace with a wide garden view too. Very good service

The location and environment are very good, next to the Monkey Park, 10 minutes' walk from downtown Ubud, and about 25 minutes' walk from Ubud Palace. The staff is friendly and guests can get a 40% discount on spa treatments. Will consider staying here next time.
