Excellent hotel within walking distance of Ubud center, yet in a quiet and peaceful location. There are two small 24-hour convenience stores right across from the hotel.

The hotel is very nice and they clean every day (though sometimes they forget a towel or soap). The staff is friendly. It's not hard to walk to the main street. If you go out and turn left, and then left again on a walk, there's a narrow, comfortable street that leads to the center.

Just outside the hustle and bustle of Ubud, this hotel is an oasis of calm, beautifully nestled in lush greenery. It's about a 15-minute walk to the market near the palace. The rooms have spacious beds, a balcony, and a seating area. The bathroom features a walk-in shower. Breakfast is served buffet style. There are also two lovely swimming pools. Due to its many stairs, this hotel might be less suitable for guests with limited mobility. Perhaps there's an elevator, but we didn't see one. For the more active traveler, there's a fitness center. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

This is a good hotel, and overall, the advertised service level genuinely lives up to expectations. It boasts a beautiful pool, a fantastic jungle view from the room, delicious breakfasts, and excellent room service. We stayed for 4 nights, and generally had a pleasant experience with no major complaints. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM – they offer a buffet with several hot dishes/sides, and two live stations: one for made-to-order eggs (fried or omelets) and another for waffles and pancakes. Overall, you can put together a tasty and balanced breakfast, and even after 10 AM, there’s still a wide selection (not just leftovers). The room itself is decent, clean, and quite cozy, but it's definitely on the small side. What it particularly lacks is storage space – there's only one small wardrobe, and it has no shelves. This means you can hang 5-7 shirts, but anything else you can't hang will have to stay in your suitcase or on the table. For two people, this is genuinely inconvenient. Also, there's zero soundproofing from the hallway. It constantly felt like we'd forgotten to close the door, but in reality, you just hear every little sound from the corridor, and people talking right outside the door makes it hard to fall asleep (or wakes you up before your alarm). We ordered room service a couple of times – everything arrived very quickly (15-20 minutes) and was delicious, all at a very reasonable price (averaging 80-100K IDR ($5-7) per dish). The staff are competent, friendly, and all speak English. Overall, the stay and the hotel are great, but the downsides of the inconvenient room and noise from the corridor definitely detract from the overall impression.

This hotel is excellent! The location is great, the service is top-notch, and the breakfast is fantastic. The rooms are spotless and come with complimentary bottled water, replenished daily. Housekeeping is very thorough every day. It's truly a great value. They also have a gym and a wide variety of breakfast options, including lots of fresh fruit, various breads, and both Asian and Western dishes. I just hope guests are mindful not to take more food than they can eat – I saw one couple waste at least five or six pieces of bread.

Excellent hotel, delicious breakfasts, large grounds, 2 pools, daily room cleaning, and welcoming staff – everyone is happy and smiling.

The resort is well-equipped, and the shuttle service to Ubud Market made getting to the town center a breeze. Since there aren't many good hotels in the center of Ubud, this was incredibly helpful. I was also very satisfied with the continued care I received from the hotel even after check-out, right up until my departure.

A very nice hotel on a peaceful and quiet spot in Ubud. Just 900 meters from the main street you find Best Western. You will be welcomed very warm. We even got a free update to a better an very nice room. Breakfast is nice and good quality. It's was amazing and surprising being called on the room at night by the staff asking if everything was ok and if they could do anything to improve our stay. This year (2026) we choose to stay in BW for the third time. It's a pity I can't do an additional review to upgrade the score. The staff (especially Marlo in the restaurant) is doing their best to improve my stay. Next time in Ubud I'll come here again!

The environment is quite clean, the room is quiet, and the breakfast quality is good. What's a bit frustrating is the poor transportation access around the hotel. Many roads in Ubud are one-way, so even short distances require detours, leading to a lot of time spent on transportation.

Nice hotel. Good value for the money. Located on one way street. Takes 25 minutes to go about 1.5 km due to traffic. Couple of small restaurants close by but we either walked or took shuttle to get to better restaurants. Staff is nice and helpful.  Nice pool but water is too cold for swimming so no one was really using the pool. A water heater is badly needed.
