One of the worst hotel experiences we have had. The property is extremely old, poorly maintained, and in urgent need of a complete renovation.
We booked a Superior Room but were initially placed in a different, much worse room. After complaining, we were moved to the correct room, but both rooms had the same issues: strong mold and humidity, stained bedding and towels, an old and very noisy air conditioner, and a bathroom exhaust fan that did not work.
There is virtually no soundproofing. We could hear everything from neighboring rooms, late-night gatherings, barking dogs despite the hotel’s no-pets policy, and constant noise from the pool area. We were unable to get proper sleep during our entire four-night stay.
The most concerning issue was hygiene. We saw a rat in the pool area on two consecutive days, near the breakfast and kitchen area. We also observed guests entering the pool wearing full cotton clothing. As a result, we stopped using the pool and stopped eating breakfast after the first day.
We requested a cancellation and refund from day one, but our request was refused. We paid for facilities we could not comfortably use and a stay we could not enjoy. With many nearby hotels at similar prices offering far better standards, I strongly recommend choosing another property.
