I highly recommend this hotel! The breakfast is delicious, the staff are friendly, and the location is convenient. It's right next to Ubud's main street, and close to the Monkey Forest, which is a fascinating and unique place with jungles and lots of monkeys in their natural habitat!

The overall environment is great, with a large and comfortable swimming pool in a natural forest park. It's very close to the Monkey Forest Park. The price-performance ratio is quite high. It's a quiet place amidst the hustle and bustle.

The hotel has a very good location, BUT the rooms are completely unclean; they don't even change the towels, and the building itself is quite old. Breakfast is delicious, and the WiFi works.

A beautiful place in the forest

The rooms on the first floor are average.

It is a nice budget place to stay for one night or two. The people who work here are great kind souls. Breakfast is nice. However: If you need to be online or work - you will not be able to do it here. I did see reviews about the bad wifi connection and ignored it until I learned it myself. It is supper slow and it is on and off all the time. If you want to sleep/rest in quiet environment- you will not be able to do it here. There is a river behind the hotel and it is fast and produces very strong noise even with the closed balcony and when it is raining it is even faster and Lauder. I like sound of water but at some point I also like silence to fell a sleep. You do not know about the river until you actually check in. It is fun during the day at first , but again at some point next day I got tired of this constant noise and had to close the balcony all the time.

We stayed for 3 days in this beautiful place. It has a lovely garden with pool. The room was very big and had a view on the pool. We did here the music from the street, but after one night we got used to it. The location is amazing. We could walk everywhere in the city within 5 minutes. And their breakfast pancakes our delicious! The staff was very kind and helpful. Especially our friend Dewa dev was very kind and helped us a lot during our stay. If you look for a cheap but wonderfulll spot in Ubud this is your place.

The best thing about Jati Bungalow is its location—just 50 meters from the market. It’s incredibly convenient to step out and explore anytime you like. However, it’s not a professional-style hotel, so adjust your expectations accordingly. The rooms don’t have a phone, so you can’t easily call for assistance. Breakfast isn’t a buffet; you’ll need to order it. It’s a small, simple hotel with a nice vibe, and the guy at the reception is friendly and helpful. If you’re booking this place, remember that the main pro is its proximity to the market. Beyond that, it’s a basic stay that works if you’re looking for a no-frills experience.

First of all the view of our room was perfect..in front of the balcony there was monkey forest and trees and palms and sound of water falling..(be careful from monkey because it is possible for them to visit you at your balcony ❤️😂 ..the staff and the people were so kind and the food was very good..the room was good and clean but a bit old and the bathroom was very bad and has yellow colors due to oldness..and the baddest thing is there are loads of geckos..there another bad thing that you can hear your neighbors next door (i think the walls was very thin)

Very affordable & basic and very close to the main bustle of Ubud Street and that's the only reason I would stay here. The folks at the hotel are very helpful. but rooms are not aired and the sheets + towels should be replaced.
