A lovely villa. The room is clean and comfortable and the staffs are friendly. Most importantly, it is quiet in the evening. The surrounding area is convenient with stores nearby.

The hotel’s location isn’t particularly convenient, so you’ll need to take a grab whenever you go out. The facilities are a bit outdated, and there isn’t a buggy service for getting around the property during your stay—it’s only available for check-in and check-out. The hotel also doesn’t provide toothbrushes, and there were quite a few mosquitoes. Overall, though, the stay was still fairly good.

VILLA kayu Raja is a 4 story either 1 or 2 bedroom villa located in the heart of Seminyak. I found the staff members to be extremely helpful and kind. My 3 friends had an absolute ball staying here - as did I.. there was a 24 hour convenience store located quite close (220 meters away) and breakfast was provided for guests. I would definitely recommend staying here again as the 2 nights here weren’t enough!

Service is good, but Need renovations and many insects there. Swimming pool is not too clean. Buffet breakfast is below average.

We are happy to stay 2nights here, Villa staff friendly and helpful. Location a bit far to town for walking, requires to call grab for dinner and shopping or go to beach. Due to private swimming pool is open air connect to living room, many mosquitoes on evening and night time but is ok that time we stay inside room. Washroom is big and can enjoy the jacuzzi. We request the breakfast send to our room easy for us to wake up late without rush for cut off time at villa restaurant. My son likes this villa and said don’t want going back home.

We had an amazing stay at the Kayu Raja villa, exceptional service, all staff were helpful and kind, the rooms were unique and memorable, breakfast was ok maybe not enough variety but still enjoyed it. The pool bar above reception was a lovely hidden gem!

Stayed at Villa Kayu Raja in Seminyak and honestly had a really enjoyable experience. The villa itself was spacious, private, and perfect for a relaxing Bali getaway. I especially loved the private pool and the overall peaceful atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the stay, always greeting us warmly and assisting whenever needed. The location is also convenient — close to cafés, restaurants, and Seminyak attractions, yet still quiet enough to relax comfortably. The property does show some signs of aging in certain areas, but overall it was clean, comfortable, and worth the stay for the price. Breakfast was decent, and the villa vibe really gave that classic Bali holiday feeling. Would recommend for couples or friends looking for a private villa stay in Seminyak with good service and a great location.

The hotel was okay overall — I wouldn’t say I was extremely satisfied, but the staff service was truly amazing. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was also really good. However, the property itself feels quite old and definitely needs better maintenance. Our room had a leaking issue during the rain — we woke up to water marks around the door handle area and even on the floor. The hotel is also built over four levels, and once you open the room door, the living area has no air conditioning, only ceiling fans which didn’t help much, so it felt quite hot most of the time. We ended up spending most of our time either in the bedroom or at the pool. The pool itself was nice, although the water was very cold. Overall, the staff and breakfast were the highlights of the stay, but the facilities and building condition could definitely be improved.

It was the right choice to made to have booked this villa for an absolute getaway experience. Location is quite near to the famous beaches, clubs and nice good rating restaurants. We had our dinner at a nearby teppanyaki restaurant on our first night which the dishes blown our mind away at the first bite. Who would expect Balinese locals can whip up such good delicacies with taste better than its country of origin. Moreover the overall cost of this villa is value for money without burning the wallet. Villa is constructed in a duplex loft design which separates the bedroom and hall from upstairs and downstairs respectively.

A 15-20mins walk to the main street of Seminyak or you can just take a ride to save energy. Very easy to get a ride and the staff who helped us procure one even made sure that the taxi is a metered one. We almost scammed by some gojek riders otherwise. Check in is kinda swift and you be given a refreshing pineapple welcome drink. The room is a duplex unit with a pool inside the basement part. Very relaxing and chill type. The living room is open aired so mosquitoes will be around somehow. The top room is usually the place to hangout since there is air-cond. Bathroom is very spacious and the tub has the jaqcuzzi function. Chilling in the pool at midnight is the best. The sound proofing maybe not be completely sound proof though. There is also a small pool on the rooftop bar to chill in case you are done with beaches. A japanese high end restaurant just beside the villa if you feel like it. The staffs are very attentive and helpful. They make you feel comfortable to make requests.
