Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Reviews

My overall experience on this hotel is excellent. Easy to find, good location. Lobby staffs are friendly and accommodating. Lobby, waiting area, elevator and hallways are all modern. The room door is superb. Clean and soft bed, strong wifi connection, hot and cold shower. The room is big yet very affordable. i highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is doing upgrading but my room that I stayed was run down & the exterior looks as well...

Location is near Denpasar. Breakfast buffet is good, especially cake and bakery corner. No fruit slice but jelly with fruit taste. It’s just okay if you want to book hotel near Denpasar.

I had a pleasant stay at Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Center and would happily recommend it to others visiting Denpasar. The hotel is centrally located, making it a great base for both business and leisure activities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the essential amenities provided. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a generous variety of both local and international dishes. The hotel’s facilities, including the swimming pool and meeting rooms, were well-maintained and added to the overall experience. For the price, Aston Denpasar offers great value and a welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Bali.

I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. When I was choosing a family room, there were two options: one with a king-size bed and two regular beds, and another one with four regular beds. I immediately disliked the second option, so I booked the one with the king-size bed and two regular beds. That room was available at the time of booking, so I reserved and fully paid for it almost two weeks in advance. When I arrived, I was shocked to find out that my prepaid and confirmed room had simply been given away to someone else. They offered me the exact room I had specifically rejected — with four regular beds. That’s how they treat their guests: you pay for one thing, and they force you into something else. Even though the hotel is only 14 years old, the condition of the rooms is appalling. Everything is shaky and poorly maintained, the furniture creaks, and the air conditioners are so loud it’s impossible to sleep. The bed sheets are damp, there are tons of mosquitoes in the room — you just can’t relax. The bathrooms constantly smell like sewage. The toilets are filthy, and I found someone else’s hair in the sinks. I booked and paid through Trip.com and realized this is the first time in my life I skipped reading the negative reviews (which I usually trust the most). It’s obvious the hotel is scamming Trip.com by submitting outdated photos and misleading information. For example, all rooms look neat and clean in the pictures, but in reality — it’s a nightmare. The description says nothing about the hotel not guaranteeing the number or size of beds in the room you book. But the hotel lies and claims it’s all clearly stated and they don’t guarantee anything. Total scam. Strongly not recommended. A huge disappointment. I paid for two nights, but I’m checking out after the first one — this place is so bad, you just need to run and never look back. Когда выбирал семейный номер, было два варианта семейных номеров: один с одной большой кроватью King Size и двумя обычными кроватями, и второй — с четырьмя обычными кроватями. Второй вариант мне сразу не понравился, поэтому я выбрал тот, который с одной кроватью King Size и двумя обычными кроватями. На момент бронирования этот номер был доступен, и я забронировал его и тут же оплатил, почти за две недели до заезда. По приезде оказалось, что мой оплаченный и подтверждённый номер… просто отдали кому-то другому. Мне предложили именно тот вариант, который я изначально не хотел — с четырьмя обычными кроватями. Вот такое отношение к клиентам: оплатил один номер, а вселиться заставляют в другой. Несмотря на то, что отелю всего 14 лет, состояние номеров — ужасное. Всё держится на соплях и шатается, мебель скрипит, кондиционеры гудят, что не уснуть. Простыни отсыревшие, в номере много комаров, невозможно нормально отдохнуть. Постоянно идут зловонные запахи из канализации в ванных комнатах. Унитазы грязнющие, в раковинах чужие волосы. Бронировал и оплачивал на Trip.com и понимаю, что это первый раз в жизни, когда я не читал негативные отзывы по отелю (обычно читаю — они правдивее всего). Видно, что отель обманывает платформу Trip.com, предоставляя им неактуальные фото и информацию. Например на фото все номера выглядят аккуратными, а в реали — тихий ужас. В описании номеров нет ни слова о том, что отель не гарантирует что кроватей в забронированном номере окажется иное количество или иные размеры, но отель врет, говоря что такое указано и что они не гарантируют. Короче — обман! Категорически не советую. Полное разочарование. Оплачивал 2 ночи, но после первой выселяюсь — бежать от таких надо, без оглядки!

Check in was smooth. Staffs were friendly. Hotel is huge, they have 3 blocks. I got the far end of the block which was a little bit away from the reception and the restaurants and the open space for smoking. In 2 circumstances, i walked up to the room and the door card could not work. This happened in 2 different nights. I had to walk down and got it reset, but the staffs didnt bother to apologise for this. The first time it happened I was okay, but the second time it happened, I got pissed off, because it was a long walk from the room to the reception. If you order food delivery, it will be a long walk to take your food at the reception. If you got the rooms at the reception level, I'm sure it will be a great experience like the first time I was there in the Junior Suite, but this time it was not as pleasant. Thumbs up though for the housekeeping, as the found out I had many shirts lying on the sofa, they brought a small clothes rack and hung my shirts.

to improve the variety of foods for breakfast

Request for queen size bed will not available, room is rather run down and the ventilation and circulation is rather bad and took a long time for air conditioning to cool the room

Old building and room need renovate. Breakfast do not have varieties food

The food is good

Location in the middle of Denpasar, room is quite outdated, nevertheless everything else is working well. Breakfast is just okay. Good for groups or corporate to have events coz they have the space for mice. Service is ok.
