The view of the valley is magnificent. The facilities and furnishings are showing their age a bit. The staff's hospitality is excellent.

Nature itself has become art; everything at Pita Maha was beautifully artistic and provided a healing experience. Every view was stunning. I definitely want to visit again. Thank you!

Right by the Ayung River, the scenery is absolutely unbeatable. I honestly think the natural beauty here surpasses even places like Mandapa and Como, which are also on the river, where I've stayed before. The hotel has its own waterfall, a royal temple, and a holy spring. Most of the guests seem to be from India and the Middle East. The hotel has been operated by royal descendants for generations. While it might be a bit older, it's well-maintained, and the service is excellent. The only minor downside is that the food isn't really suited for Chinese palates, but that's not a big deal if you're only staying for two or three nights. As I was leaving, they even asked me to promote the hotel in China!

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations! It's absolutely beautiful! I'll definitely be back next time! The hotel even has its own waterfall, and the yoga class by the waterfall was an amazing experience! The restaurant is also stunning! Overall, the experience was fantastic.

Again return here , just after 10days. Best proof that it is amazing place. Hardly recommended!

Great resort!

A beautiful stay , The staff all very friendly and always a smile on the face, super helpful. The service is super. The Pool villa amazing beautiful views of the valley . This place offers a lot in the grounds an exotic paradise which you could just stay and not go anywhere else 3 restaurants one vegetarianrestirant next to the river , the fine dining restaurant in the main building and the taman dedari Resturant a few minutes walk from reception with huge statues, the grounds are huge and will keep you exploring. The SPA wow a destination in its self, amazing massage. We will be coming back but just stay in the grounds and explore more of what the whole resort has to offer. The king of Ubud should be proud of this place the staff is what really makes this place stand out the most. The customer experience is wow. I will see you again soon :o)

Our stay at The Royal Pita Maha was simply incredible. We were pleasantly surprised by our beautiful private pool villa and its spectacular view. Such a peaceful and relaxing place, surrounded by nature, where you truly feel disconnected from the world. A special mention to the exceptional service and kindness of the staff. It is impossible to name just one person because everyone was absolutely amazing, warm and attentive. A truly unforgettable experience in Ubud. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The service was warm and attentive, and the hotel itself was picturesque with beautiful views everywhere you looked. Even though the rooms were spread out, each one had its unique charm. The spa offered great privacy and the treatments were comfortable and skillful, all at a good value for money.

It's not clean and geckos are rampant inside the villa.

The place is magical, it is wonderful, it is like being in a fairytale, it is out of this world.. the food is fantastic. The most important thing is that everyone is showing love and making you feel welcome! Very warm smiles, very kind people, very respectful! It was a wonderful place to stay in! We are lucky to have tried this place! It is the real Bali relax experience ❤️❤️❤️

The location is incredible overlooking a jungle canyon and river. There is a beautiful waterfall on the property as well as a couple of rice terraces and a bathing pool for cleansing rituals. The grounds are well manicured and the intricate rock carvings give a distinct Bali/Hindu feel. The villas are large and so are the private pools. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection with standard items and other items that changed daily. The staff is friendly. Beyond the furnishings showing a bit of wear and tear, we have nothing to complain about. We loved it so much, we extended our stay. It’s the perfect place to “get away from it all” and relax.
