Kind of an old hotel/resort and the facilities and rooms are a bit dated, but the scale and location of this property is breathtaking, as is the service. The beach is excellent as well.

The hotel environment is excellent, with several accommodation areas and stunning views. The pool is huge, and the beach is much larger than the neighboring hotel's. I recommend a sea-view room; otherwise, most rooms are located in the interior garden area, quite a distance from the sea. You can swim in the morning when the tide is in, and even try foraging for seafood in the evening when the tide is out. The hotel has four or five restaurants, with four options for breakfast, and Japanese or Western choices for lunch and dinner. You'll never be bored at the hotel pool all day long.

Dirty forks in the restaurant. Dirty towels with huge stains by the pool. Everything else was great. The lost and found service works well. Birds and monitor lizards in the Indonesian restaurant. Great show during dinner at the Japanese restaurant.

We had an amazing stay in Grand Hyatt Bali, the location is perfect! It’s just 2 minutes walk to the Bali Collection. Also, the hygiene, facilities, breakfasts. All are so lovely! We would recommend it to everyone.

Hotel is like a small community with different facilities. Can see some animals sometimes. Also close to the Bali Collection.

The facilities are quite old, but the environment is truly top-notch and very comfortable. The beach is also charming and easily accessible.

The service here can't compare to the Hyatt Regency Bali. The rating seems fair. When we arrived, no one helped with our luggage. The room was old and dated, and it was a long walk to the beach. The food was good, though, with plenty of restaurants and pools, and the hotel itself is quite large. On our last day, my child got a high fever after eating, and also suffered from diarrhea.

I was torn between the Hilton and the Grand Hyatt for days, and I'm so glad I chose the Grand Hyatt. We stayed for three nights, and on the last night, my child cried because they didn't want to leave – they loved it so much! It truly lives up to its reputation as a family-friendly hotel; it completely captured my child's heart. **Location:** Better than the Hilton's. The hotel faces Bali Collection, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also a short 10-minute walk to the tidal bore viewing spot and the Island Museum. **Ambiance:** The hotel is absolutely massive; I got lost every day! Both the garden and ocean views are stunning and perfect for photos. The ecosystem is thriving, with small animals visible everywhere. There are several pools, and the facilities are very family-oriented. The pools are shaded by trees, so it's not too sunny even at midday. The downside is that you need to go early to get a spot; by 9 AM, the shaded loungers are all taken by families with kids. There's also a super long water slide. The hotel's private beach is also huge; the sand isn't as coarse as some reviews claimed, suitable for surfing but not snorkeling. We barely left the hotel during our 4-day, 3-night stay because our child loved it so much. **Service:** The staff are incredibly friendly, always smiling, proactively helping with luggage, and engaging warmly with children – very thoughtful. **Breakfast:** There are 3-4 restaurants. We chose the Water Palace and the Italian restaurant. There were plenty of choices, and everything was delicious. **Room:** We opted for a garden view room with a sofa bed. We had the staff convert it into a sofa bed, and it was perfectly sufficient for our family of three. We even had little squirrels visiting our balcony!

I slipped and fell because the hotel lobby floor was extremely slippery. Although the staff attended to me immediately and took me to the infirmary afterward, they still insisted I pay for the medical expenses. Even after I repeatedly emphasized my situation, they wouldn't budge. The hotel manager was incredibly slow to arrive, showing up 30 minutes after I twisted my ankle, and also insisted I pay. It was only after I emphasized it again that they very, very reluctantly and with a forced smile agreed for the hotel to cover the cost. On top of that, the hotel is very old (the bedsheets even had small yellow stains, and almost all of them did). The service quality is incredibly low for the price. We booked laundry service and room service, but no one came to collect our items, and no one replied on WhatsApp. It was a terrible experience. While 2000 isn't an expensive price, the experience was so poor it absolutely doesn't live up to a 5-star hotel, especially when compared to Potato Head and other establishments. The value for money is very low; for the same price, you could easily stay at a much better hotel. The service attitude is awful and not worth it at all in Bali. You can definitely get much better service by booking other hotels.

Sadly, my worst experience in a Hyatt… very un Grand. I booked KING BED size, thy gave me a twin bed. Then I asked to change the room, I told them I don’t want an adjustable twin into king bed. They said thy did not, but cheated me… F&B outlets very poor food, except breakfast the rest very so so. They serve in the sports bar baked camembert without olive oil and rosemary as described in the menu. Order a double espresso at the lobby bar, they served me a single one. Then they insist is a double one (not even half cup filled). Need to revamp tho hotel. Many red wines by the glass are served oxidized… This morning I wet for a jog on the beach and it was filled with plastics nobody cleaned. Hard not to step on them. Terrible experience overall.w

Just realised that the hotel is more for families with young kids. It’s quite full and noisy everywhere you go. Impossible to have even a quiet breakfast at least. The service at the pool area was great the only thing was I tried to call the receptionist to help me to locate my phone when I realised it wasn’t with me and the last place was at the pool area but until after 30mins there’s no one get back to me so I get my kid to went and check as I was panicking and luckily it was there still.

The sheets had stains and foreign blonde hair on them. The overall environment was good, with a grand design, and it seemed to be mostly foreigners with hardly any Chinese guests. The hotel has its own beach, and the pool design is also very nice. The rooms are a bit like high school classrooms, and the facilities are quite old.

The service was absolutely superb, a truly five-star experience. Both the facilities and the ambiance were top-notch, and the staff's attitude was exceptionally friendly. I stayed in an executive suite, and the food and beverage offerings were abundant. I would definitely come back given the chance.
