Hotels in Nusa Dua, Bali

Great value for money with everything we needed for a weeks stay whilst working & enjoying the sun! Highlights: - spacious room conducive to working - staff were amazing. In particular chef Ferri Andre in the Backstage restaurant (sorry, unsure on spelling). He was amazing in providing vegan options for breakfast every single day ensuring we got everything we wanted whilst personally coming to see us and delivering the food. - Julio the Marriott Vacation club employee was extremely helpful and arranged our complimentary spa treatment. - Great spa with enjoyable holistic massage for 60 minutes - Lap pool was a nice amenity as well as a great gym - Shuttle to Bali Collection (shops) & the beach was convenient. Areas of improvement: - Main pool was occasionally too loud. When they had the large speaker on, this could be heard across the resort and was overpowering. When at the other pools, there was then 2 sources of music that could be heard which was not ideal. - Our room was described as a 'Sea view' which as you will be able to see from the picture is a real stretch... - Even though the chefs were super helpful, it isn't great for vegans. Animal products in most items that you wouldn't expect (bread/pasta etc). Seemed a bit unnecessary. - Renaissance's beach is not great. I would highly recommend going to 'Canna Bali' instead.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Merusaka! It's a beautiful property that's a rare Indonesian owned and run hotel in the resort central of Bali. We stayed in a pool access rooms which was particularly perfect for a family with a baby. It's only 1.2m deep which is perfect for getting the littlies used to water in a somewhat private space (only shared with 4 other rooms and no one else was ever in the pool when we were!). Bed was gigantic and so comfy, great shower, huge bath (did not use) and a sofa lounger perfect for chilling and breastfeeding on. Great breakfast and facilities at the Merusaka. Never short of a lounge chair at the beautiful stretch of beach just infront of the hotel. The morning sunrise yoga was perfect way to start the day and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Super walkable to the gates of the ITDC so you can explore the world yonder. Felt like literally next door to Bali Collection. Left my son's swim hat at the hotel and staff coordinated with me and GoJek to send the hat to me in Legian. Could not fault the Merusaka. Wonderful wonderful stay - thank you. We will be back.

Great little villa with a private pool. Staff are really friendly and were very helpful, going out of their way for us more than once. Ayu was particularly helpful and lovely. Breakfast was delivered to us daily and ok, but it's just as easy to go to the supermarket across the road and pick up what you like. As all the areas except the bedrooms and bathrooms are open, you need to keep food really well sealed or in the fridge to keep insects out. Some bug spray and mosquito coils are also best to have on hand due to this. Pool is a good size, but deep and not enclosed so not ideal for young families or non-swimmers. You need to get a taxi or driver to go anywhere as there is nothing in walking distance in terms of restaurants or shops except the supermarket, a small pharmacy and 2 convenience stores. (The reception staff are more than happy to order a taxi for you.) Overall a very pleasant, private and relaxing place to stay.

Amazing historical Balinese architecture needs to be greatly valued and the staff many of whom have worked there for many years are really nice. The hotel should be nominated as part of a historical society to hold up & maintain its heritage. It's an amazing old hotel with lovely gardens. & Balinese statues & water features everywhere. It's being renovated at the moment, but the staff said they hope to have the main lobby restored very soon and are doing trial run sometime this month. For now, you have to check into the hotel through a side entrance at Ayodhya palace which was traditionally used for exclusive guests. Previous reviews have criticized the hotel, due to the renovation work going on & yes, they should notify people who book that it is under renovations and when it is due to be finished trough their website. We had 2 rooms & we were upgraded to grand deluxe rooms & thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and the staff were so nice. Extremely quite & peaceful no paint smells or workers being noisy. We got a great deal. Bicycles are free to use by patrons. The main pool is still under renovation but the front pool near the beach is still operating. Waterfall restaurant is open for breakfast lunch & dinner. Other small cafes by the pool are open. The spa sadly is closed but may reopen with a new contractor soon I am told. Please be understanding of what the Ayodya hotel & its staff have been through. It has been shut down during covid for 2 years and is only just re-opening. They need tourists to support them. & if you want value for money, you can get a great deal whilst staying at the hotel right now. Just ask to be placed in a room away from any renovation noise or paint smells. The staff will look after you very well as they did for us. Entschuldigen Sie die späten Bewertungen für dieses wunderbare Hotel, ich war für 4 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Das Hotel selbst liegt im Zentrum von Nusa Dua und ist sehr strategisch. Sie können leicht viele Restaurants, Geldautomaten, Geldwechsel und den Strand in der Nähe finden, aber ich empfehle Ihnen, das Zimmer mit Poolblick anstelle von Straßenblick zu buchen sein Lob in den Nächten. Beim ersten Frühstück gibt es an diesem Tag kein glutenfreies Brot, nachdem ich mit einem der dort zuständigen Mitarbeiter gesprochen habe, am nächsten Tag wird es jeden Tag angeboten. Ich war erstaunt und beeindruckt, wie freundlich und hilfsbereit das Personal hier ist, Major Ein großes Lob an Ana von der Rezeption, sie hilft uns freundlicherweise, auch wenn sie nicht aus der Hotelabteilung stammt. Ich werde dieses Hotel meinen Freunden empfehlen, Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland

First of all very old school hotel. The queue at the front desk is very slow, and it takes about 10 minutes for one person to check in. I feel that the manpower is not enough The second is that the tour guides in their lobby are not familiar with the surrounding business, so they can't talk about the places that can be played around. They just tell you to go to their swimming pool and shopping mall. The third is that the spa is basically full every day and cannot be ranked The fourth is that all toiletries are requested before they are given. Many employees are lazy, this is my comparison with other hotels. Overall....really ordinary and old school

Really nice hotel in the ITDC area of Nusa Dua, easily accessible, safe and with a long pool and an Indonesian Style buffet breakfast. The rooms are a good size and very clean, well worth the price. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they are incredibly polite and accommodating to guests . Special shout-out to Dewak who was very very helpful throughout my stay here and helped me out without fail. He knows the area well too and so gave me good recommendations for coffee places and places to get good food and drink! Will stay here again for sure!

The hotel is great for the price. The breakfasts are good. There is a swimming pool. Located in a picturesque gated area of ​​Nusa Dua. Please note that the hotel does not have its own beach! It is better to take a bike and ride to Melasti beach (about 30 min).

This hotel is old but very well kept. The room 430 we had was very big and very clean, the view of the pool and ocean was beautiful. The Housekeeping staff are amazing especially Slamet. We would personally like to Thank Slamet as he went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. Breakfast was nice, not a lot of Western food but what we had was hot and tasty especially the Egg Station. A big thank you also to Suriati and Tutik for looking after us, it was lovely to see their smiling faces at breakfast. The pool area is lovely with beach access. All food we had at the restaurants was very tasty and hot. Thank you once again for a fabulous stay, see you all again in June.

We had a wonderful stay at Mulia Nusa Dua, the resort was beautiful and relaxing. They have different types of swimming pool and all of the pools are clean and well maintained. The beach was clean and the white sand was soft, you don’t have to worry bringing your kids / babies to play with the sand because it is white and soft powdery. Breakfast was a chef kiss, they have a wide variety of culinary from different countries: intercontinental, Indonesian, indian, jap / korean, classic english breakfast. Several things that we did not enjoy were: the mattress as it was too soft for our liking and the firmness was not even - one side of the bed was slightly sunk in and the right side was slightly firm (still abit too soft). We called the staff about the mattress but they said it was meant to be like that?? Uneven mattress? That’s not ordinary. There was no off function for the aircon so it gets too cold during night time. The pillows were too soft and we requested for different types of pillows and all of them feels the same. We booked the Grandeur room, the view was facing trees and plants, it wasn’t an amazing view and they certainly could do more with the view by maintaining the dried out trees or something? Other than that, Mulia was enjoyable and we would definitely come back to try the Royal Suite.
