Hotels near Taman Segara Madu Water Park in Bali

Location is very good and the beds are very comfortable. However. The whole hotel is dark and looks nothing like the photos on the website. The lobby has mosquitos everywhere, after we checked in we both had 10+ bites. Mosquitos also cover the swimming pool area and the seating there so we had to stay in the room. There were no windows in the room so it was very weird having no natural light. Bathroom smelt very weird. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else are unfortunately it was not pleasant. Staff are very nice however.

Really nice hotel with great pool area and lovely, clean rooms. Staff are very friendly. However the walls are very thin, meaning you can hear people in other rooms and people outside which is annoying when late at night or early in the morning. Also on the website it says they offer laundry service however when we asked they said this was untrue. Also no fridge to keep water cool.

first thing that they haven’t mentioned while booking is they will take 500000 IDR as security money from you and will refund when you checkout so please keep in mind as this charged me a transaction fee from my card. Second the service was not upto the mark like sometime i have to call twice to get my bottle fill with water.

This hotel has good employees, clean, friendly price, good service and good location. It's close to double six beach and surrounded by so many coffeeshop , restaurant and spa. They have pool and corner to talk or have guest visits us.

I have been a regular guess since June 2019. This hotel offers a simple, and clean room at an affordable price. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Located in a quiet area but yet just a few minutes drive to the main road that could lead you to the business centre of Denpasar.

I can’t wait to return! Don’t think twice about it. I am traveling in a group of 5, I myself single in the studio worked beautifully. From arrival we were greeted at the airport quickly to the property where we were met once again with a warm welcome and orientation of our home for the next 6 days. Their story can be found on their website and is worth a read. We participated in their yoga classes, meditation, sistrum, ice bath, sound healing sessions. Kim is amazing and has impacted my life in a way no one else could touch. I wonder if she knows? A good selection from their breakfast menu was included, enjoyed it next to the pool near the ocean across the way. Potato Head was the first week of our journey to Bali and I now believe it when they say that when the stars align, you’ll know it. And Fysh, if you could be so blessed to meet her here. She took care of our group with her heart and it is still felt! I’m not going to ruin it for you. I really enjoyed my stay in the homestead! The owners are super nice and the garden is so cute. The room is comfortable and clean enough. Like mostly clean just some dust in corners and under furniture. The mosquito net has lots of stains but it gets the job done. The room is very pea full and i love the decor. Everyday the room was cleaned and had a new towel. It’s such a nice location, I love that’s it’s kind of recessed away from the busy street. It IS within walk of Canggu beach but it’s a 30 minute walk. However plenty of restaurants and nice cafes along the way make the walk pleasant.if I ever stay in Canggu area again I would chose this homestead again.

Aeera Villa was the perfect villa to stay in! It is conveniently located near 2 mini marts, and there were lots of restaurants and cafes nearby within walking distance. They also arranged scooter rental for us, which enabled us to explore around canggu even more! We managed to ride to and fro Finns club and Atlas beach fest, both took us 15 mins to reach. The staffs were very helpful and easily reachable via WhatsApp. Breakfast selection was normal and tasted not bad. We opted for floating breakfast, with an additional fee. We also opted for fresh flowers bathtub decoration the next day, and were able to specify the time which we want it to be done too. Both floors have smart TV with Netflix. WiFi connection was fast and stable. There’s an Alexa speaker for you to voice activate certain functions in the room too. Very cool! Aeera Villa faces a large paddy field so it is really therapeutic and healing to be there! We will definitely be back at Aeera villa again!

We stayed at Dream Village for a week and have mixed feelings about it. Pros: - Pool bar area is great for chilling during the day and night with a great view over Canguu. - Staff are really friendly - Quiet location although rooms have quite thin walls so you can hear other guests walking past the room and even in their own rooms. When the room next to you or above you has the shower on or flushes the toilet, you’ll know. - Relatively clean but some parts not very good. - Room is big - Great air con - Wifi has very good signal - Beds are very comfortable Cons: - Shower broke (fell off the wall) first day and still wasn’t fixed until day 5. Still usable but not very practical. - No hand soap anywhere across the hotel. I asked at reception for some and was told “we don’t have any. We just use shower gel.” I found this to be very concerning especially after COVID and by the fact that this also means that’s it’s unlikely the chefs use actual hand soap either. We bought our own to use. - Location a bit far out from things so you need a scooter or taxi to get to the main part of town/beach. - Dirty pillowcases and sheets - No balcony in rooms so can’t dry anything - Windows in room don’t open - Could do with a spruce up - a bit run down. - Breakfast is not great. Not much selection and some of the food doesn’t look very appetising. Orange juice is watered down, there is one type of cereal for kids, milk is warm, everything is covered with cling film because of the flies… Luckily there are some nice places nearby to visit. There also needs to be more breakfast type foods rather than carbonara and teriyaki chicken. A few things need to be improved here as it has the foundations to be a great hotel but I wouldn’t stay here again.
