Pullman Bali Legian Beach

Legian Bali|0.5km from Popo Linen & Lighting
During my recent stay at the Pullman Legian in Bali, I was left disappointed by the overall experience. Despite the hotel's appealing facade and convenient location in Kuta, the room itself fell short of expectations. First and foremost, the room I stayed in, which was supposedly a pool-front location, had a persistent dampness that was immediately noticeable upon entering. This unpleasant atmosphere made it difficult to fully enjoy the space and left me feeling uncomfortable throughout my stay. Moreover, the cleanliness of the room was far from satisfactory, and it did not live up to the standards one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. In fact, the cleanliness level was more comparable to that of a two-star hotel in the Kuta area. The state of the bathroom floor was particularly disappointing, with visible damage and an overall dirty appearance. The wooden parquet flooring was scratched in multiple places, which gave the room an unappealing and poorly-maintained aesthetic. To make matters worse, even the simplest details seemed to have been overlooked. For instance, the chair in the room displayed signs of rust, which further added to the feeling of neglect. The water hose attached to the bathtub appeared to have never been cleaned, as it had a noticeable buildup of mildew and left a silky feeling on your hands when touched. Considering the brand reputation of Pullman, I expected a much higher level of cleanliness and attention to detail. Unfortunately, my experience at the Pullman Legian fell short in these aspects, making it difficult for me to recommend this hotel to others. On a positive note, the location of the hotel was undoubtedly convenient, situated in the heart of Kuta Bali. However, the disappointments encountered within the room overshadowed this advantage. In conclusion, despite the attractive facade and prime location of Pullman Legian in Bali, the lackluster room conditions and subpar cleanliness detracted significantly from the overall experience. If you value cleanliness and attention to detail in your accommodation, I would recommend exploring other options in the area before considering a stay at this hotel.

On the booking site it was written that the check-in from 14:00. We arrived at 15:00, we were told that the room was not ready and asked to wait at the bar. I sat for an hour, after which I myself went to the reception to check if the room was ready. He still wasn't ready. At 16:20 I was given the key. There were 2 pillows in the room, I called the reception to ask for another pillow, because I am pregnant and I just need it for comfort. The receptionist said, ”Yes, of course.” An hour passed, no pillow. I'm calling again. I ask for a pillow. Answer: yes, of course. Another hour passed, no pillow. I had to call again and ask for a pillow. After 2.5 hours, the pillow finally reached my room. The water in the shower does not drain, which is why there is an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. There was no desire to visit this hotel again.

Rating of Siesta is based on the amazing staff especially Mr. Hendra as Duty Manager, who is so helpful at all times. Also location that can be out of the way but that is why we stay there, no noisy street traffic. The breakfast has many options and eating in is affordable. Love Siesta and will definitely stay again.

Grandma's on Jln Camplung Tundak is my 2nd home when in Seminyak. Room is tiny, very small but enough for a solo traveler or with a friend affordable to each get a room. Staff are super friendly, very clean, restaurant has delish food, live music. The only negative is the fridge freezer didn't work. 200 meters to the beach with La Plancha Restaurant. As long as the price doesn't increase, Grandma's will always be my 'home away from home'. Thank you to all the staff. You are wonderful. Terimakasih

I spent a night there and checked in late afternoon. I wanted to go scuba diving the ship wreck in Tulamben on the next morning as that would be my last chance to do it before departure and asked reception for advice. Putu took the time to search for different dive shops that would still be open. Most were closed and the ones who weren't were fully booked for the next morning. Putu did not stop his search and really went out of his way, ringing every dive shop he could look up to find THE place that was still open and had a spot available for me. If it wasn't for his time and efforts, I would have been unable to go diving. He made a massive difference to my trip and holidays! Staff like this is so valuable. Thank you so much Putu.

Booked this hotel because there is a parking space. As a result, in the deep alley, the road is very narrow and it is difficult to drive in. It's quiet in the downtown area. The customer service attitude is relatively cold compared to other hotels. The group shuttle buses ordered are not allowed to come in.
