The friendless, service, food, location…every experience there felt like paradise.

The location is very beautiful and the hotel is nice. Staff were nice too the only issue I had was things that looked like poop that were floating around especially under the toilet. I’d come back again but I wouldn’t go on the water.

Every staff speaks good English, very nice. The environment is extremely amazing. There forces you to put down your phone enjoy your holiday because there has no signal at all. But in the resort providing WiFi (not free). We definitely will go there again

Amazing experience! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and waking up surrounded by limestone mountains and the peaceful lake was unforgettable. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique stay in Thailand.

This resort offers such a different experience compared to normal hotels in Thailand. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, natural, and far away from the busy world. The floating villas were comfortable and the views from the room were absolut ely incredible at every time of day. We especially loved the early mornings and sunsets over the lake. The staff were warm and attentive withou t being overly formal, which made the atmosphere feel even more relaxing. The food was delicious and surprisingly varied considering the remote location. I would highly recommend staying at least 2 nights because one night is simply not enough to fully enjoy the experience.

I have traveled to many places in Thailand, but 500Rai Floating Resort was truly one of the most unique experiences I’ve ever had. Waking up surrounded by mountains and calm water was something really special. The atmosphere was relaxing and private, and t he service from the team was excellent throughout our stay. Highly recommend for couples or anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Travelling as a group of 5 for a multi-centre holiday in Thailand. This was our fourth hotel and our base for two nights to explore the Chiew Larn Lake, Khao Sok area. The rooms we had were Deluxe 3, 4 and 5 Pros It is a floating hotel We did not sink Good service Lovely views Nice sunrise Potential for viewing animals and birds We saw zero mosquitos! Cons The food was only OK. No safe Only four sunbeds near pool Having to book the trips the day before Price of the trips is excessively expensive Free WiFi passes did not work

This year in February i was a guest of this hotel. Never ever to everybody who has a thought of going there , don’t. 1. I was eating at the restaurant fish and chips which costed me a treatment in the hospital 3000$ for my family. This hotel didn’t confirm the cost of my illness. 2. Swimming polls full of algae. Better not to put your whole body into this filthy water. 3. Morning and afternoon activities are neither good. Nice boat but promises animals like elephants, birds. I haven’t seen any of them there its ridiculous. The only way to see the land during the daytime, the journey takes two hours. When the darkness stars no chance to get any help if you are dying its over for you I am writing this as a warning to those who are planing to stay at this hotel. Goodluck

For the very expensive price ($1100 AUD) per night, we expected a fairly exclusive, mainly adult quality resort. But I think, because they allow kids to stay free, the resort is absolutely full of kids. We ended up in a villa next to two families of screaming and yelling kids, destroying the serenity we hoped for. It felt much more like being at a kids camp than a retreat, which was disappointing. As well, the quality and standards in the resteraunt was mixed. The staff were nice but for instance first and most day we get given the lunch menu..we have to ask for the vegetarian menu for my wife..5 out of 6 meals we werent given the drinks menu..first 3 meals we are given our deserts, but find out after we should be given a choice of deserts. Also wine is not on the drinks menu, we had to ask if they even had wine, which they did but no menu. Oh and expect kids (and some adults) to be walking around the resteraunt with no shoes on. I get you dont dress up for it, but hey at least thongs. Pic attached of the stained cushion from our room that is provided to sit out on the deck on.
