Amerald Resort Hotel Desaru

An old but gold hotel right in front of the beach, perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with a great view. While the property may be a little dated, it’s well-maintained and has all the essential amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The highlight for me was definitely the breakfast spread, it was excellent! There was a good variety including nasi lemak, noodles, porridge, and bread/toast, which made every morning enjoyable. What truly stood out was the service. The reception and restaurant staff were warm, friendly, and always helpful, making the overall experience even more pleasant. Overall, a charming stay with great hospitality and a fantastic beachfront location. Would definitely come back! 🌊

Bed and linen are comfy. I booked the room with seaview and the beach view was stunning and tranquil. Breakfast spread is farlt good and meet my tastebuds. I would go again if i want a short getaway from jb city. It’s a nice place to stay and have a short break to unwind. I think the froom floor cleanliness could be improved. I would suggest the hotel to provide a ramp for accessible people to travel from the lift to the room. This is because,the floor of each level from the lift’s lounge is not levered evenly due to the building design itself. In my room also the bathroom is designed lower from the room floor and makes it difficult if u r taking elderly staying at this hotel. Other than that, it was a nice and pleasant stay for me. Will come back again👍🏻

Buffet breakfast so so only , but have alot lalat see pic below , food not cover lalat kiss the food . I have paid extra breakfast for additional people each Rm 55 have little expensive.

Stay by Seaview. Nothing much to see. Auto power cut-off once u open the balcony door is ridiculous. Strong winds makes the balcony door noisy at night. Friends staying at the normal view heard noisy birds located at lower levels. Breakfast is edible. People who works there are so unhappy.

Except from internet access difficulties the rest all good. If someone want to come here makes sure your phone got enough rooming data. The Wifi very lack.

Check in and check out really fast and smooth. Not many people checked in compared to my previous booking which took more than half an hour. The room is very spacious and I love the king bed and super single bed. More than enough for me, husband and 2 daughters. The bathroom is spacious too. I love everything in the room esp the seaview balcony The food for room dining also very reasonable. The breakfast is just average. Quite limited choices and RM55/pax for breakfast is not really worth it since limited choices. Better to order from menu. Ample parking (open and covered parking). Overall, I had a great stay and definitely will return I was unlucky during my stay since the we couldn't swim in the sea due to strong wave. But the swimming pool is more than enough.

The room quite spacious. Toilet clean and big. Seaview balcony. Only thing the curtains and bed had white insects I don’t what does it called. TV available but we cannot use because not enough battery. No line, very slow , used WiFi but not too strong .We had out dinner in hotel, does not worth for the price. Ordered Nasi goreng kampung but it’s not enough and spicy and the soup taste like water.

A decent hotel for a short gateaway. The beach is nice. Seaview room for sunrise. The breakfast is so so. Thank you.
