The resort is great for families. We enjoyed the kitchen and sizable room during the winter stay. The location is quiet and peaceful enough to have a lovely rest.

We had an incredible stay at Tunnel Mountain Resort in Banff. From the moment we checked in, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our experience memorable. The property itself feels tucked away in the trees, offering peace and quiet while still being just a few minutes from downtown Banff. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a rustic mountain vibe that fit perfectly with the surroundings. I especially loved the fireplace—it made evenings feel warm and relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchenette was well-equipped, which was a nice bonus for preparing meals. The views from the resort are stunning. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and seeing the Rockies right outside my window was unforgettable. On-site amenities like the hot tub and pool added to the experience, especially after long hikes. What stood out most was the balance between comfort and nature. It felt like having a private cabin in the mountains but with all the convenience of a resort. I’d highly recommend Tunnel Mountain Resort for couples, families, or anyone wanting a true Banff escape. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation, comfort, and breathtaking scenery—I’m already looking forward to coming back!

It is at at a nice location, very friendly staff and great service. Everything was accessible from there and the bus stop was right next to it. The hotel gave us buss passes free of charge for all day travel however since we had the car we didnt use it. I took a lodge and it was very nice, it was the last one on the property and pretty quiet yet very accessible. I didnt use any amenities so i dont know however everything seems pretty solid.

My son and I traveled to this lovely place from Jasper. The room is excellent. We chose the standard one, and were VERY impressed with the fridge/freezer, microwave oven, hob, kettle, coffee maker and saucepans etc!! The beds were really comfortable too, and the shower was great. I'd love to see the next upgraded room..... surely, it can't be that much better!! It was nice to have a lift up to our room. My son tried out the steam room and sauna, but wasn't impressed with them!! I would definitely recommend this place!!

We got a terrible experience as the house keeper threw our garbage out of the cabin that we stayed. What happened was: When we came back to the cabin, we found out our garbage was thrown out in front of the door of the cabin. We complained to the manager and they just apologized what have happened. This made a dark spot on our trip to Banff which was unpleasant.

We had one bedroom loft. Plenty of spaces for kids to run around. The wood burning fireplace in the living room is cozy and feels like home. The view was amazing- snowy mountain peak, and saw wild animals right in front of your balcony while having breakfast. We were here for the kids' hockey tournament. 8 mins drive to the hockey rink . Not a walking distance. We will come back in summer and try the trail nearby. The swimming pool was small and the water was cold but the kids seemed to be ok.

Its far from the event we held but overall its a good place to stay. And they upgrade my room. So happy.

I can't find 3beds room in the town, so this resort is matched our request with 3 beds. And only 3km to the town, this resort have all cooking facilities, it's conveniently.

Wonderful location. It’s so wonderful to be a little way away from the downtown crowds. It was a great perk of giving us also free bus passes for our stay duration Most definitely easier to leave your car there and take public transit. Also on the drive to the resort take the Hoodoos cutoff and take a little walk and check out the sites and listen to the magpies calling to each other. Thank you.

Very good location. Just 4-minute drive to Downtown Banff.

I really like the small kitchen included into the accommodation, very helpful with eating in instead of the expensive restaurant in Banff. I would stay here again.

Travelled in a group of 3 adults and 3 kids - good design of the room allowing 6 people to stay in a room with 2 bathrooms (with one having bathing facilities) and full kitchen. It seems to be the only hotel/ resort with such design in the area. That said, the cleanliness/ hyenine needs to be improved. I wiped the floor and the paper turned black instantly, and the staff didn't throw the garbage on the loft (they only did that for the ground floor) nor make our bed from the second day onwards.
