Hotel Canoe & Suites

This hotel is absolutely terrible, Ctrip is a rip-off!! I paid over 4000 RMB for one night in a dilapidated hotel that's worse than a 7 Days Inn costing a few hundred! The mattress was a 70s spring mattress, squeaking all night long!! They didn't even provide a bottle of water; I had to go out and buy some or boil tap water myself! The small balcony, I don't know what it's for, looked out onto a parking lot and a pile of garbage!! The air conditioning in the room was incredibly noisy all night, dripping and leaking, and the heating kept turning on by itself even after we tried to turn it off!! Chinese people ripping off fellow Chinese people! Ctrip has really disappointed me!! And we are even VIP customers!! 4300 RMB for this kind of price and this kind of service is simply consumer fraud!! This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in during all my years of global travel!! Ctrip, if you treat your customers like this, you'll go out of business sooner or later!!

This hotel is located on the outskirts of the town, about 1.5 kilometers from the center. However, they offer a complimentary bus ticket per person, which makes getting around convenient. There's a gas station right across the street, and though the hotel is small, parking is easy, making it a good choice for self-drivers. The room facilities are comparable to mid-range chain hotels in China, like Hanting Express. There's no complimentary bottled water or other drinking water in the room. For some reason, the mattress creaks with every movement. When booking, don't bother paying extra for a 'mountain view' room, as the views are pretty similar regardless. Overall, considering its location within a scenic area, the price is reasonable.

The room is spacious, but the location is a bit far from the town center.
