Irwin's Mountain Inn

No free breakfast, but they do have a hot tub and a sauna which is nice. For peak season, the value for money isn't great, but the location is pretty good, about a five-minute walk to the Banff info center. There's free parking, but no EV charging stations. They have a laundry room, but the machines are older, not free, and cost three dollars per wash. Plus, the dryer needs two cycles to get clothes dry, so it's not really worth spending the money to do laundry.

The location is excellent, within walking distance to both the bus station and the city center. The room is very spacious, and the two beds are large enough. You can also see the snow-capped mountains from the room (see pictures). There's a restaurant downstairs.

This hotel is very old, noisy, and has poor soundproofing. The room is dated, and it's not cheap either, definitely not recommended. The cleaning was subpar, and the heater sounded like a boiler when turned on. Couldn't sleep at all.

The hotel is located on the edge of town, but it's not too far to walk to the town center, about a 10-15 minute stroll. The room amenities are quite basic, showing that the hotel is likely a bit older. Free parking is available in the hotel's underground garage. It's not great value for money, but then again, hotels in Banff are generally expensive.
