Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok

Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok

Silom/Sathon Bangkok|2.13km from Ban U Mosque
I had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!

I have never stayed in this part of Bangkok before and booked this hotel as some friends were already booked in here, however the reviews seemed positive and it is described as in a quiet area, which is exactly what I wanted! I was not disappointed. The room was spacious, clean and modern with an extremely large and comfortable bed. The bathroom was of an adequate size and was again, clean and very well maintained. I also found that all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast staff who were wonderful. I had breakfast each day and found that it was excellent value for money, with a wide range of tasty and good quality food options. There is a swimming pool in this hotel and whilst small and shallow, is clean and well maintained and is a perfect little oasis from which to escape the heat! Around the hotel, there are many massage salons including one affiliated with the hotel itself as well as a plethora of excellent food outlets, which serve authentic local foods. It is also neat to the MRT and also Robinsons mall. It is also close to Chinatown, which at night is simply amazing if you like good food! This hotel is perfect for couples and is far away from any noise or rowdiness, whilst having excellent transport links via road, rail or river to all parts of Bangkok. In conclusion, I highly endorse this hotel and recommend that anyone who reads this considers a stay here. I will be returning!

Prince Theatre Heritage Stay Hostel - Silom

Silom/Sathon Bangkok|0.24km from Ban U Mosque
This youth hostel is called Prince Theatre. I booked a 4-person girls' bed room and stayed here for 5 nights. The location of the Youth Hostel is excellent, walking to BTS Sathorn, about 8 minutes from the ferry terminal, convenient to take a boat to the Icon and Ferris wheel terminal night market. There are various specialty snacks around, there are three 711 shops. Multi-bus access to Siam Center, Makro, Bangkok National Museum and more. I stayed in room 1 on the first floor, each bed has bath towels, lights, hangers, small storage racks, sockets and curtains. No need to make your own bed and clean up the bedding. There is a separate bathroom in the room, with double sinks, dry and wet separation, equipped with free shower gel, shampoo, hand sanitizer, and toilet paper. The shower has enough hot water and the bath is very comfortable. The lobby of the Youth Hostel is spacious and bright, with distinctive theater characteristics. The staff are very warm and friendly. The roommates I met were polite and friendly. Have a good and pleasant time here. The only downside is that the Youth Hostel does not conveniently provide free drinking water. The room has no windows and poor ventilation, which is a problem with the design of the building itself and there is no way to change it. In short, this is a very affordable and convenient choice. If I visit Bangkok again next time, I will choose to stay here.

It's a really great location. Beside the hotel is a shopping centre. There are peddlers selling all kinds of food every day front the shopping square. Food is available anywhere. The BTS subway is just 5 minutes away. It takes eight minutes to get to Sathorn. It is a busy and congestion area. The hotel's facilities are a little old, and the hygiene is still satisfactory. Staff is very courteous.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in Shangri La Bangkok. The smell of freshness as we entered the lobby really mesmerising. The room was great as we choose a room facing the river. So we enjoyed the view at night without even leaving our room. The location is great as Icon Siam is just across the river and a free boat service is available every 30 minutes. To sum up, I really had a fantastic vacation at Shangri La Bangkok.

Ctrip's map marked the location is not allowed, and I am half an hour in the residential alley. The real position is 50 meters east of the marked point, and it is facing the street, I hope to correct it.
