Location is central and services and staff  associated with bell captain, house keeping, room service , restaurant are super and extremely friendly. While reception staff are friendly however they lack the attentiveness and acumen associated with front line staff. Look helpless and/ or un empowered to deal with situations usually dealt with by front line staff without manager assistance or advice.  Loyalty program need to be revisited to match other brands in terms of customer value

Cleaniness and room maintenance could be better for a hotel at this level. Service was good though. And spectacular pool was the highlight of the stay.

The room was great, however the shower doesn’t have bathmat（I mean the non-slip mat) I have checked the room in details still couldn’t find it. Also I reckon the staff service was friendly but the accent can be hardly understood….I have studied in the states for more than 6 years, I am not from English speaking country but the working language is still English…I suggest either the staff speak slowly or learn speaking in Uk/US accent.

It is very close the Erawen Temple. I stayed there with three of my other friends. Hotel is located at a very prime location. It is also very close to the train station. Their breakfast is amazing.

Contrary to some of the reviews which I read on trip.com which made me initially reconsider my booking, the hotel truly lived up to its reputation & name and we had one of the most comfortable stays! The rooms are large and spacious and the bathroom is superb! The linen, furniture toiletries etc are all top notch. Only the TV channels need to be increased especially movies. The hotel is well located close to the erawan shrine and all major shopping centres are within walking distance and so are the train stations. In terms of the facilities at the hotel, the gym, sauna and steam are all very well equipped and maintained. The pool was a nice place to hangout albeit the construction across but that is something beyond the control of the hotel. The staff was excellent and friendly whether it was at the breakfast table or the concierge or poolside they were all positive and helpful. A special mention for the housekeeping staff who actually did some excellent work behind the scenes in terms of turndown services and daily cleaning……they were just superb! The breakfast was one of the best I have had anywhere till now and the loft bar on the 56th floor is a good place to hangout on a Saturday. In terms of improvement the hotel may like to look at the poolside food services which may need brushing up. We had gone to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday and had requested for a small cake which was efficiently provided. However, I felt that the hotel could have extended some additional gestures/ niceties in terms of a hand written note or someone wishing her during breakfast etc which would have added to the 5 stars which I have already given. Notwithstanding the above, the staff did everything else possible to make our stay comfortable; they gave us an early check in a couple of hours before the actual check in time, we had requested a room which did not face an ongoing construction work which was provided and even a late check out by 3 pm was given free of charge, the concierge guided us with the places to go and efficiently provided cabs whenever we asked for including an airport drop on the last day. A special shoutout for Nat and Ni at the concierge for the same. And that is why I would still consider staying at the hotel during my next stay at Bangkok. Overall I would say the hotel was EFFECTIVELY EFFICIENT WITH HIGH STANDARDS! and worth its price. It is an ideal place for couples who would like peace & tranquility and some us time.

Service was impeccable - all my requests were swiftly met. Staff were pleasant and friendly. As someone who is very particular about bathrooms, Waldorf Astoria exceeded expectations. The room was spacious and comfortable, and had plenty of closet space. Great location as well, given the Bangkok traffic, the hotel is only a short walk from many nearby malls (or if you’re feeling adventurous, motorbike rides will be even quicker). I ordered a few room service meals and genuinely found the Thai cuisine better than some restaurants.
