I stayed at Collection O The Spades Hostel for a few nights and had a good overall experience. The location is very convenient, especially if you want to explore central Bangkok. It’s not too far from public transport, and there are plenty of small restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby, so it’s easy to find food anytime. The hostel itself has a nice, modern design. I liked the common area because it felt comfortable and relaxing, and it’s a good place to sit, work, or meet other travelers. The room was simple but had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable enough for a short stay, and the air conditioning worked well, which is very important in Bangkok’s weather. The staff were friendly and polite. They helped answer my questions and made the check-in process smooth. I also felt safe during my stay, as the building is secure and quiet at night. There are a few small things that could be improved. The cleanliness in shared areas depends on other guests, so sometimes the bathroom was not as clean as I expected. Also, the facilities are quite basic, so if you are looking for something more luxurious, this might not be the best choice. Overall, I think this hostel is great for budget travelers. It offers good value for the price, a convenient location, and a comfortable place to rest after a long day exploring the city. I would consider staying here again.

The location is very convenient, right next to Victory Monument Square. There's a transfer point for various buses here. There's also a train. So you can get almost anywhere without changing buses. That's assuming you have time to figure out which buses are which and wait for the right one. The sidewalk leading to the hotel is fine, so you can easily carry suitcases. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and I really liked the interior. However, there are two downsides. 1. There's a lot of road noise in all the rooms. We checked two rooms on different floors. We asked at reception, and they confirmed that it was noisy everywhere. I can sleep peacefully with moderate road noise, but my girlfriend had a really hard time falling asleep. 2. All the plumbing in our room was leaking. But since we only stayed one night, we didn't worry about it. It's also a bit unusual that the rooms don't have windows. There's only a balcony, but the door to it also has no window. I can't say it's bad, but it's a bit unusual. And one of the rooms was a bit dark. We chose the second one offered, which was brighter. Overall, we're happy.

I arrived at midnight and there was no reception staff there. I called the number on the counter and specified the branch of hostel and then I was welcomed by a staff. The place is clean and well-decorated.

Beside the noise issue, everything was great. The room is spacious and clean enough. The bathroom is also clean, and there is hot water. But the window in the bathroom cannot close so the noise of the street is really loud inside the room. The wall is not sound proof so I can hear everything going on in the hall way. It’s hard to sleep when it’s that noisy, unfortunately. It’s a good room for a long stay but because of the noise, I think a short stay would be better.

The location is quite competitive, it is near the Victory Monument BTS station. Like 10 minutes walking from the hotel. This hotel so far is the most hygienic one I have ever experienced in Thailand. I posted the photos. The staff regularly check and clean everything up. Besides, all the staff are super friendly and kind. It is quiet in the evenings. You can have a good rest. No worries about it.
