Transportation & Food are unbeatable, but it lacks a 'vacation' feel. Pros: * Excellent location, directly connected to MRT Sam Yan station. You're there as soon as you exit, no worries about sun or rain. Super convenient for trips to Siam or Chatuchak. * Right next to Chulalongkorn University's food street. Within a 5-minute walk, you'll find Michelin-recommended curry rice, BBQ, desserts. A huge selection for late-night snacks – a foodie's paradise. * Room space is quite generous, basic amenities are all there, and the price is very reasonable for this area. Cons: * No swimming pool. In Bangkok's year-round hot weather, this is a real downside. If you want to cool off in the water, you'll have to go to a nearby gym's paid pool. * The hotel's overall style is business-oriented and minimalist. The lobby and corridors are dimly lit, lacking a vacation atmosphere. * Soundproofing is mediocre. You can slightly feel the low-frequency vibrations when MRT trains pass by (higher floors might be better). Light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. Overall, if your schedule is packed, and you're out early and back late, only looking for a clean, comfortable place to sleep + saving on travel time, Triple Y offers great value for money. However, if you're expecting poolside loungers and a relaxed vacation vibe, skip this one. Recommended for: Food adventurers, shopping enthusiasts with multiple daily stops, budget-conscious business travelers. Not suitable for: Families with children who want to swim, couples who enjoy lounging around the hotel.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. Yesterday was my birthday, and after coming back from a day out, I found that the hotel had prepared a cake for me. It was so heartwarming, thank you! We didn't mention it was my birthday trip when we booked, so it was a pleasant surprise how thoughtful they were.

This is the first time I've given such a low rating after so many years of booking hotels on Ctrip. This is the most baffling hotel I've ever stayed in. The hotel fined me 2000 Thai Baht, claiming I smoked because there was a 'smell of smoke' in the room. Note, they didn't see any ashtrays or cigarette butts, just an arbitrary 'smell of smoke.' And if you don't admit it, they'll bring in a professional agency to test, and if a smoke smell is detected, they'll fine you 5000… I'm in a foreign country, and there's a language barrier, what can I say? Is this bullying? Can I call the police??? I can only say that Ctrip is generous; they eventually reimbursed me for the fine. Let me review the hotel itself. First, the room had a strange smell, which a child described as 'foot odor.' The room had a window and a balcony door, but they never opened them for ventilation. They probably wished the room smelled so they could fine guests for it. The hotel service was non-existent. Housekeeping was very sloppy. One day they didn't put mineral water in my room, another day they made the bed with the quilt upside down (the foot end at the head of the bed), and there were even ants on the pillow. The hotel offered no apologies, let alone compensation. They only changed the pillowcase the day I found the ants… That's right, they're only keen on fining you, hehe~ Oh, and they'll rush you to check out. Without any prior notice, they'll tell you, 'If you check out after 12 PM, you'll be charged 1000 Thai Baht for the period between 12 PM and 2 PM.' Yes, they are very keen on collecting money… I advise anyone considering this hotel to think about booking elsewhere. In Thailand, where 7-Elevens are everywhere, a 7-Eleven downstairs from the hotel isn't special; which hotel doesn't have a 7-Eleven nearby? The adjacent mall is just a regular small mall; you wouldn't want to spend all your time there. The 'free coffee vouchers' are for an automatic coffee machine, and no one would enjoy that coffee. If you stay at this hotel, be prepared to be bullied by them. Finally, I wish the hotel prosperity; after all, with such effort put into fining guests, if they don't get rich, who will? Last but not least, I genuinely want to say… this is a trash hotel. Even if they offered it to me for free, I would never stay here again!

Great location, with a Big C supermarket and 7-Eleven right downstairs. Taxis are also readily available. The room itself is quite spacious, with enough room for two open suitcases. However, the water comes in glass bottles, which means you can't take them out of the hotel.

The location is ideal, and the staff's service attitude is excellent. It's easy to call for a car, and they offer complimentary coffee. The hotel is right in front of a shopping mall. However, the pantry light in the room couldn't be turned off, which was not conducive to sleep. That's the only minor drawback.

The rooms were clean and beautiful. The staff provided excellent service and were very accommodating. I will definitely be back to stay again.

The environment is great and feels very safe. The staff were super helpful; we lost our room card, and they didn't charge us for it. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven downstairs, and both the BTS Skytrain and MRT subway are nearby.

Having a 7-Eleven and a mall downstairs is super convenient! Plus, the location is very close to Banthat Thong (Chula Food Street). The room is large with plenty of space! Overall, it's very comfortable, and I'd stay here again! The only downside is there's only one luggage rack, so the other bag had to go on the sofa. (Also including my recommendations for 7-Eleven food and Boost!!!🤣)

I stayed here for 2 nights for a seminar at Samyan Mitrtown Hall. Everything was impressive, from the hotel's location to its convenience. Everything you need is integrated into the building – accommodation, event space, food, and shops within the mall. The area around Samyan outside the hotel also has a great atmosphere, perfect for exploring, sightseeing, and finding easy meals. Right below the hotel entrance, there's a 24-hour 7-Eleven. Free parking is available for guests. The room was clean, quiet, and well-soundproofed. The bedding was excellent – a comfortable bed, a perfectly thick duvet, and supportive pillows, ensuring a great night's sleep. The air conditioning was cold, and adjusting the temperature was easy and precise. The bathroom was clean, the shower's hot/cold water temperature was easy to control, and the water pressure was excellent (on the 10th floor). There's a fitness room on the 11.5 floor (11th floor, then up stairs to the mezzanine). There are common seating areas to relax in the lobby on the ground floor and on the 11th floor. The reception staff were friendly and attentive, greeting guests warmly. I received a Welcome Drink coupon for coffee or hot tea at the lobby. Getting around by the MRT Blue Line is very convenient. From the hotel, you can walk inside the building directly to Samyan MRT station within 5-10 minutes, using the underground exit and connecting walkway. This means you don't have to cross Phaya Thai Road or Rama IV Road, avoiding sun and rain, which is incredibly convenient. I might stay here again in the future; I wasn't disappointed.

The hotel's location is excellent. The rooms are spacious, and there's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, with a shopping mall and the subway station next door. It's incredibly convenient. If I come back, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

I have returned to this hotel twice. The hotel location is perfect because next to the hotel is a mall in public transportations it’s very very very convenient for travellers like us. I will come back again for this hotel.

The room is very spacious, in a great location, clean, and the bed is super comfortable. The shower has great hot water. Right downstairs, there is a large 7-Eleven, and it’s right next to Samyan Mitrtown. They even gave us two coupons for free hot coffee! Overall, if I have business in the city again, I will definitely stay here next time.

The hotel's location is superb, right next to the subway and a shopping district. Downstairs, there's a supermarket and a convenience store, making travel and shopping incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. The staff are warm and welcoming, and check-in was efficient. The only minor drawback is the limited breakfast selection, but overall, it offers outstanding value for money and is a great base for a trip.
