The major downside of the trip was that the hotel was far away from the touristy spots :( coupled with the Bangkok traffic, travelling to places take about 40-60 mins :’) but that’s on us for not doing our research well.
The breakfast served is the same each day - american breakfast platter. You can choose how you want your eggs: overeasy, scrambled, omelette or sunny side up. Slightly disappointing considering its a 4-star hotel. They serve coffee too but charge for additional if you ask for a second.

Scene is located on the other side of Bangkok called Thonburi which is about five minutes away from the Grand palace and Khaosarn without traffic. The hotel has a lovely pool where you can relax and chill. The room is spacious and well decorated. Car parking is available but quite limited. The restaurant downstairs serves very good pizza that you can order and eat by the pool. 7/11 is nearby so it’s very convenient if you need food or drinks.

The room is clean and furniture is all in good condition. Basic amenities such as toothbrushes, shower caps, cotton buds, bathrobes are provided. Truly value for money! Highly recommend if location is not an issue.
