The hotel is located right by Hua Lamphong train station, in the day it is very safe to go around and there are many people around. Night time is a little scary as the shops are closed, there is little lights around and you have to walk a few steps in a dark alley place. One night I went back and there was a guy peeing in the alleyway.
Location is very convenient. I managed to walk to Banthat Thong Road and Chinatown in about 25-30mins. I booked Jeh O Chula on the QueQ app, left the hostel 30 mins later, and by the time I walk there, it was my number next and I didn't have to wait.
Reception was very friendly and they will make you watch a short video if it's your first time there, in your language. Very good as it makes you be aware and follow their rules. They have QR codes to recommend places in Chinatown and Banthat Thong area, very informative!
I booked a female 8 bedder, it was a double bed, it was very comfortable. When the curtains are closed it gets a little stuffy, but it cools down after awhile. You can change the temperature of the aircon, but need to be considerate of the others as well. There were 2 shower and 1 toilet cubicle within the 8 bedder room, it was always clean and shampoo and body wash available. When I was there, we only had 4 people one night, I didn't bump into the others, and there was always toilet/shower space available. There is hairdryer and weighing scale if you need. There was a fridge outside the room that you can put your things in too.
