Furama Silom Hotel Reviews

Enjoyed my stay in Hotel Furama Silom from 30th April 24 to 4th May 24. The room size and the bathroom are spacious, they also provide big bottles of Shower lotion and Shampoo with nice fragrance. Bed was very comfortable, Wifi decent and Air-con was good and cold. Very good location and the transportation to Central World is very convenient. Close to 7-eleven just 2 doors down from the hotel. Overall, great value for money.

Went above & beyond my expectations, definitely worth what you paid for. The room is big, modern and clean. Also, we got to used their pool and it comes with a nice skyscraper view. Not much stores nearby but convenient location to get to places.

My third stay at the Furama Silom. I like the location, and the rooms are huge. Yet this time I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness. The shower wall had a big wad of hair, and there were ants in the kitchen space (and there are ants everywhere in Thailand, so this was more than usual). There were holes in the ceiling, cracks around the bathroom door…the hotel is in serious need of an upgrade. Lastly, my key card kept deactivating and needed to be reset three times, which was an annoyance.

Welcome to Cockroach Inn You should go there when you are a biologist interested in all kinds of insects and pests.The hotel is quite big with a rooftop pool and a few sunchairs there. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. Balconies are there but closed by key so you can't use it. Aircon worked poorly and smelly in my room and the one in the bathroom didn't work at all (even though I repeatedly asked reception to get it fixed). Everything is very old and it clearly shows. Some floors (top floors in deluxe class) still have very old, super dirty, disgusting carpets with countless spots. My room and also the corridor had a massive cockroach problem along with other (smaller) bugs. They are many of them (I don t know how many I catched or killed), quick and hide everywhere (under the desk, in the carpet, in the wardrobe; in the edges of the walls, the sink, I even found some in my toiletry bag - and I m pretty sure there will be an entire family of cockroaches and bugs in my lugage as a souvenir when I open it back home). Housekeeping sometimes sprays (upon request) but not regularly and it doesn' t have a big effect; even though some may die, a lot of their relatives are there for the funeral the very next day. I think it's not only about cleanliness it's simply an old building and sooner or later the insects take over. Furama should either tear it down or at least urgently renovate the whole thing. It s a shame for the entire group.

Lovely hotel the staff very welcoming as you would expect with the Thai people . Over all 10 out of 10👌

Clean and big room , feel so comfortable, but a little distance then can go BTS , breakfast should be change some food , left a little old, find some problem , anyway nice hotel

The toilet is not clean, towels are not changed, the staff is not enthusiastic, the hotel is old, the location is okay, the equipment in the hotel is old

Rooms are in urgent need of refurbishment. Bed was hard and lumpy, No tv working despute tecnician trying to fix it. Not worth the price I paid, there are far better hotels in the Silom area

Overall no frills stay. Thought the room needed an upgrade especially the bed and the bathroom shower area. Otherwise a decent place to stay on a budget.

Nice location got a very good upgrade to a suite that was great nice staff friendly.

Good localtion and the room size is good but the balcony's door cannot be locked, there is some hairs in the bathroom.

the staff knocking my door and suddleny ask me to go out at 9 am because my friends already left at 4 am, thats bad no attitude to the customer lol
