My stay at Upar Hotel Sukhumvit 11 was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The property is completely unfit for occupancy, filthy, neglected, and nothing like the pictures shown online. Upon arrival, I was shocked by the state of the room. It smelled strongly of mold, and there was visible mold and grime on multiple surfaces. The floors were sticky, the bathroom was dirty, and the bedding looked unhygienic. It was absolutely unacceptable for any guest to stay in. I immediately contacted Ctrip to file a complaint and request a refund. I also asked to speak to the hotel manager, but the staff informed me that there is no manager on-site. When I asked for the receptionist’s name, they refused to provide it and told me to contact marketing but would not share any contact details for them. Ctrip tried to assist and contacted the hotel on my behalf. The hotel offered me another room, but it was in the same disgusting condition. The hotel then claimed that “while the room may show signs of wear, it remains suitable for occupancy.” That is completely false. The odor of mold made it unbearable to stay in, and spraying perfume as they suggested is not a solution to a serious hygiene and health issue. I checked out immediately and moved to another hotel. However, the hotel then lied to Ctrip, claiming that I had accepted their cleaning service and was still staying there. Because of this false statement, Ctrip could not process my refund right away. This kind of dishonest and unethical behavior is completely unacceptable. Overall, Upar Hotel Sukhumvit 11 should not even be listed on Ctrip or any other travel platform. It is misleading, unsanitary, and poorly managed. Guests deserve honesty, safety, and cleanliness, and this hotel provides none of these. Avoid this property at all costs. The pictures online do not reflect reality.!!! These images speak for themselves!!!

Amazing

I had a perfect stay here. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Everything worked smoothly, from check-in to check-out. The hotel facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious with plenty of choices. Service was fast and professional throughout. I couldn’t find a single fault—everything was just right. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

This hotel is the most dirty place I ever visited doing my visit in Thailand. Never visit this place . The staff are not friendly and cleaner can’t even clean the hotel room. I declaimed this hotel even my sick time

I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. There was no shampoo or basic toiletries provided in the room, which is the least you expect from any hotel. On top of that, the water in the shower was cold the entire time no hot water at all, which made it really uncomfortable. The lobby was under construction, noisy, messy, and completely uninviting. To make things worse, there was a disgusting smell throughout the area that made it hard to even pass through. Overall, it felt like the hotel wasn’t ready to host guests at all. I would not recommend staying here until they fix these major issues.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in Unfortunately I booked for 7 nights and could not afford to move to another hotel . The room was filthy, the bathroom was very dirty and smelled of sewage! The television did not work Air conditioning only had one setting and smelled awful when switched on I spent as little time as possibly in the room and dreaded going back to the room I slept with a face mask on to try and mask the stench The girl cleaner was nice, and did the best she could Do but was fighting a losing battle, as it was beyond Cleaning, I would not recommend staying here Pay a bit more and stay somewhere decent It appears to be mainly Indian people who stay here

No Water for shower and washroom for 4 nights and since I had already paid and was promised repairs are done ..I felt helpless and wish trip.com could have helped but they simply refused stating its non refundable ...Had to take bath in bottled water

From the time I have checked in, it's been crazy...no water in the room..I have literally bought mineral water and used for basic purpose..it's been 3 days no resolve...I have even changed my room..but the same issues continues

Room was very small.. no place even to walk.. no mirror in the room. No sufficient lights so the room was always dark. Very very difficult to get ready. Showering area is too small AC didn't work properly.

staff very nice, room very nice and very quiet. Only issue I had was the shower holster was broken, but not the end of the world.

Good for 1/2 night stay, very near for Bamrungrad Hospital, no breakfast give .

I stayed one week at this establishment. Their are two receptionist, one kind. The other very unwelcoming. The location is ok, located within walking distance from popular restaurants and next to a 7 eleven. My room however was street facing, it was extremely noisy, up untill 4:30 to 5am every singly morning. Taxis nd tuk tuk, park infront of the hotel waiting for patrons. The cleaners are nice and friendly but the rooms need a serious deep clean, the curtains haven't seen soap ans water in a very long time. Maintenance is also not done well, non of the original fitting have ever been replaced, if something broke, it's just left as is. This is a typical you get what you pay for kind of place, low budget. It's seen its days and I will never book it again and advise anyone to add a few more dollars and go somewhere more decent, or look for a different plane within this budget.

The hotel is excellent, located in Sukhumvit, Bangkok. The metro is quite convenient.
