This place is a bunkbed dorm hostel with a couple of rooms, showers, and toilets shared for all with a bar of sorts on the roof, tight spaces all around. We were glad that we had a room as passing the dorms the stench was significantly unpleasant..

My stay here was underwhelming. The room needed some serious maintenance — there was black mold on the ceiling and peeling paint, which gave the space a neglected feel. The mattress was on the floor, and the floors could have been much cleaner, both inside the room and in the common areas. I also found a cigarette butt in the shower, and there was no toilet roll provided when I arrived. Over four days, I only saw one cleaner, so housekeeping seemed quite limited. At one point, there was loud music playing around 4 a.m., apparently from staff, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, and a few people were sleeping in the communal area, which felt a bit unprofessional. Overall, the hostel has potential but really needs better upkeep and management to make guests feel more comfortable.

I checked in late at night. The staff waited until then to help me check in. Complimentary bottled water was provided.

Bad, terrible. Here's why: 1. All rooms on every floor face the road, so the motorcycles and tuk-tuks are incredibly noisy at night. With 12 people in one room, someone is always coming and going, making it very loud. The bathroom door also slams shut with a really loud noise. 2. The tenants are low-class. People blast audio from their phones in their rooms. While women can stay in female-only rooms, men are only offered mixed-gender dorms. At night, women constantly chat with other men, making calls in the hallway and going in and out until 3 AM, unable to sleep. For the two days I stayed, the tenants in my room were awake all night and slept all day. 3. I booked for two nights. The first night was so noisy that I asked the owner if I could cancel the second night, but they refused, stating that cancellation would mean forfeiting the full amount. So I had no choice but to endure both nights. Getting even 3 hours of sleep a day was a luxury. I requested a refund several times, but the merchant instantly rejected it. I then contacted Trip.com, but they were completely unhelpful and clearly sided with the merchant. The platform and the merchant are in cahoots to rip off consumers! 4. I didn't check the reviews carefully when I booked, but later I found out this place has a history of theft, which made me feel like I had to keep my bag with me even when showering or sleeping. There was also a woman who kept doing suspicious things on the 4th floor near the entrance, like pulling her hair or sitting on the stairs talking on the phone, until after 3 AM. Very suspicious. Lesson learned: Looking back, I feel like such an ***** for trying to save money and booking two nights here. When booking hotels or guesthouses, always book for just one night and extend if needed. Before booking, always check the reviews, ignore the good ones, and only read the bad ones! If you're looking for an exciting experience and are a budget-conscious tenant, feel free to give this place a try.

Very appealing, not bad.

unclean and dirty , operated by (indians/pakistani/nepali) so don't expect it to be clean. There are other hotels at that same price that a way cleaner, like Rere Hostel, and Comfty Bed hostel

I checked in and only stayed for 30 minutes. I had to book a room at a new hotel. The room provided smelled of mothballs, and as soon as I arrived I started scratching because something in that place gave me an allergic reaction.

Located on Khao San Road, the location is great. The hostel's overall environment is average, but it offers good value for money. It's a decent option if you're looking to save some cash.

I've stayed in many hotels, big and small, across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, and I never leave reviews. But this one was the absolute worst! It was so noisy being right by the road that I couldn't sleep. The smell was awful, and the hygiene was terrible. I felt uneasy the whole time.

Good Next to Khaosan Cheap

This hostel is full of thieves. I had kept my kit in the locker in which my passport and cash were kept. Their locker is not in the room, it is kept in the walkway. I was on the 3rd floor. When I opened the locker, it was broken from inside. When I took out my bag, my 1630$ and 3 cards were stolen. When I told them about it at the reception, they did not do anything. There was a camera just above the locker. They did not even show the camera. Lastly, I complained to the police. They told the police that the camera is faulty while the camera light was on. This place is full of overseas Nepali thieves. In previous time, people used to keep Nepalis for protection & Guarding , but today this Nepali has become a thief. There is a boy at night shift , Rohan, be careful with him because my money stolen at night i see several time Rohan roaming around walkway around 2-3 am

Even for as cheap as it is, it's not worth staying there. This place is like visiting the 7th circle of hell. I have reported them to the local travel authorities for black mold and an insect infestation. The mold made me so sick I could barely do anything. When I figured out what was wrong, I didn't even dare say anything to them because they are so unprofessional, and I could not imagine any good outcome if I had.This place should be shut down as a health hazard!

Very convenient place and gets the value up filing for the price with nice decoration.

Mind Day is great for a stay in a quiet street near the party area of Khaosan, the transports pass by on the street, very practical to go to both international airports. We had a room at the top floor without elevator, be prepared to carry your luggage till your room. Prem at the reception is very helpful. There’s a souvenirs and snacks shop at the hostel, a rooftop… overall good.
