The room was big but lighting and ambiance looks very sad. Very dated room and in need of a major overhaul. Bedsheets smelled sweat im not even sure if they changed that to a new one but the bed was big and comfortable. Cleanliness is really bad especially in the bathroom too much molds and black dirts all over. Towel was old. But the shower pressure was very strong and hot water was consistent. Most things you see in the room were very dilapidated. Location as its in Sukhumvit Soi 11 so its sorrounded by cafes, restaurants, bar, money exchange and opposite the hotel is Villa Supermarket. But during the daytime its so hard to get taxi even grab and bolt too. Relatively people in the front desk were nice. The hotel really has a very big potential if they will do a major renovation.

I have been a guest of this hotel several times over the last year and a half. Excellent location and relative price. They have made some major upgrades to the downstairs lobby area. However, I seen the actual condition of the rooms and hallways declining over time. In terms of the price and location, it's still an excellent value, just don't expect the inside of the hotel to be 5 star. I wrote them a little jingle on my most recent visit (sung to the tube of Shake Your Booty by KC and the Sunshine Band: "For your Bangkok stay. With great room rates. Le Fenix. Le Fenix!."

The room was a bit old, and there were trash bags left by other guests in the hallway. The floor looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned. The mattress only had a single sheet on it, which didn't feel very clean either. Basic amenities were quite complete, and the room size was decent. The central air conditioning felt underpowered, making the room a bit warm. There are bars all around, but it wasn't too noisy.

We arrived at night and saw the rooms in this condition. Since we were staying for only one night, we decided to stay. However, everything was dirty. I understand that the price is cheaper, but at the very least, the rooms and towels should be clean and free from insects.

I was very disappointed with my stay here.
The room looked nothing like the photos. The pillows were dirty, the hallway carpet was torn and had a bad smell, and there was trash left in front of my door.
The in-room phone didn’t work, so I had to go downstairs to contact staff.
Even the lamp stand was rusty.🙁😡

Great location and easy check in, check out. However, it is neglected and cleanliness of rooms is not great. If you’re a solo traveller on a budget that only needs a place to sleep this will do. Couples or those seeking more hotel comforts are better off spending that bit extra for elsewhere.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The property is clearly not well-maintained, and it showed from the moment I entered my room.
The room had a strong, unpleasant odor that made it uncomfortable to stay in.
Most concerning was the presence of multiple cockroaches in the room. I spotted them near the bed, which was absolutely unacceptable and made me question the overall cleanliness of the facility.
For the price paid, I expected basic standards of hygiene and maintenance. Unfortunately, this hotel failed to meet even minimal expectations. I cannot recommend this property to other travelers and would suggest looking elsewhere for accommodation.

Very disappointed with the reception. The new staff were rude and unfriendly, not like the team from last year. If they can’t speak nicely to paying guests, they shouldn’t work at the front desk.
