Kempinski properties in Bangkok

Outstanding!! For months I had been eagerly awaiting our arrival at the Sundhorn Kempinski, I had built it up in my mind as something incredible to look forward to, and it totally blew away our expectations! The Sindhorn is an architectural masterpiece unsurpassed. A modern paradise that oozes with elegance. The gardens enhance the atmosphere to bring a sense of tranquility and peace in the bustling city of Bangkok. I’ve travelled extensively in Europe, namely Italy, but I’ve never experienced such superior service from all the staff as I had on our stay at the Sindhorn. The effort they go to make you feel special and valued was quite humbling! I almost felt unworthy, the respect shown was unsurpassed, but I can tell you, it was mutual, we were sure to extend our gratitude at every opportunity. We even received an unexpected upgrade to an Executive room 80sqm which was fantastic! Firefly Bar was such a treat, superb fit out and interior matched well with the live jazz music and expertly made cocktails. Breakfast was elite, so much to choose from and the quality was perfect. The pool was a great place to relax and watch the city. I went 3 times in our 24 stay. One of the quieter moments I’ll remember the most was having afternoon tea in the magnificent lobby, just relaxing and people watching. Also handy for us was the small mall complex attached to the grounds at the end of the garden, about 25 well polished restaurants and cafes. Overall this the best luxury hotel experience we’ve ever had. We cannot wait to return. I even made my parents change their booking at the Waldorf Astoria a couple blocks away and booked directly for them through Sindhorn reservations.  My parents are Hilton Diamond members and Sindhorn were able to match their benefits. This shows me this hotel is ready to acknowledge the competition and win over new guests, I congratulate them for this. If you’re thinking of staying at the Sindhorn, don’t think any further, just act and enjoy the show!

The room was clean and well-decorated. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The location is great, with direct access to Siam Paragon. Overall, I was very satisfied. The only two minor drawbacks were the long wait during check-out and the anti-slip mat in the shower felt a bit old.
