Asoke
I stayed alone and in conclusion, I was very satisfied. It seemed like it had been recently remodeled when I stayed there. The sign saying Sam's lodge hasn't been taken down yet. Good location for the price, quiet, and very clean. I was satisfied with everything except that there was no window and the toilet water pressure was weak. It felt like a clean Korean motel. It was nice to have a hair dryer as well. The air conditioner is cool and there is also a hair dryer. The towels were clean too. The floor was laid on a floor similar to that used in Korean apartments, and it was so clean that you would feel a little embarrassed if you went in with your shoes on. If I come back, I think I will stay again haha.

Go straight from Exit 2 of Nana Subway Station and turn left at the second intersection to see the hotel! The last picture is the name of the hotel.
Barn & Bed Hostel

My first time to Bangkok and I didn't regret my choice to choose Barn & Bed as a place to stay. A lot of positive point that I can share in regards to hotel location: 1. The location is close to BTS Phrom Phong Station so it is really easy for you to go everywhere. Literally just few walks away from emQuartier Sukhumvit. 2. Lots and lots of food stall and street food nearby, the hostel actually located behind a cafe. So it is pretty convenience if you look for something around the hotel. 3. Seven Eleven is just around 10 meters walk away. The hostel is really homey and quiet. The design also really cute. Staffs are really helpful and can speak English really well. There is computer at reception area if in case you have any business matter. Second floor is for the canteen, where they serve breakfast. Bringing foods to the room is not allowed, therefore if you would like to have some meal, you should have it there. Since I booked for female dorm with 5 beds, my cubicle is located in 4th floor. Tips for all of you, if you bring big luggage like i did, better keep it at the reception and bring only necessary stuffs to your room, since it will be quite a work out to drag your luggage until 4th floor. The room is clean and comfortable. They switch of the AC everyday starting from 1-4 PM, yet they have mini fan in your cubicle so shouldn't be any problem. In your cubicle there is your own locker, which is pretty big to keep all of your valuable items inside. Towels are given upon check in with deposit of 200 Baht. The bathroom is shared in each floor and always well cleaned. In the morning they prepared delicious sandwiches for breakfast, starting from 7 - 10 AM. Besides, there is also some local fruits to try like banana and apple for your morning brekkie. Really nice! I don't know what else to say about this hostel except, perfect. Great service, great value of money, great location, I will definitely comeback here for my next stay at Bangkok and definitely recommend this place for all the travelers.

Hostel is cleaned every morning. The rooms look just like online. There is a 7/11 store literally next door. The staff members are very polite and helpful. There is a woman and her name begins with a T who speaks English. She helped me out a lot. However, I would only recommend this hostel for one night stay only. It is very difficult to see at night. It is located 30 to 45 minutes away from the main attractions. The BTS train is a 5 minute walk away from the hostel but will only take you so far. The area is very busy with traffic so the sound of vehicles speeding by and police and ambulance sirens will wake you up extremely earlier in the morning. BEWARE, if you take the taxi recommended by the hostel, mention the fare that is posted on the sign in the hostel. Take a picture as proof if because the driver will try and raise the price if you don’t pay attention. Thailand is filled with scammers and people trying to earn extra money.

The location is OK, 10 minutes walk from the MRT Blue Line 20 station of the subway station. Take a taxi to use a well-known landmark Walden condo or NARZ. There are many Japanese-style shops nearby, izakaya, 7-11 at the corner. The hotel has no elevator. You have to pull the suitcase to the second floor and pull the first floor. I live on the third floor. The entrance of the gate is on the small street. After entering, the right is the bathroom of the front door. On the left, Xiaoqiang has several victims. There is a strong smell of cat feces and urine in the ladder. I endured to the reception desk on the second floor and realized that this is also a cat. The waiter was very good and stored my luggage. The room is a clean single room, shared toilet bathroom, after night, heard the music downstairs, plus the downstairs is the traffic road, wind and electric system, but fortunately tired to sleep.

The hostel is very close to the BTS station and there is a 7-11 around the corner. The superior room is very big and has two beds - and it was shared bathroom and toilet. The room was on the 4th floor and there is no lift so you have to carry your own luggage up and down. The room was nice and clean and the owner was very friendly. There was ample hot water but only in the shower, not the basin so it was difficult for me to shave. The hotel is very close to a big food market so noise was also definitely an issue. However the service was good and I enjoyed my stay. A word of advice - if you plan to extend your stay rather do another booking online as the rates the owner will give you is higher than the online rates...by doing an online booking I saved more than a 100 Baht.
