This place is great, everything you could possibly need! Traditional, comfortable, close to everything. The Spa, pool area etc is so much better than other places I’ve stayed. The breakfast is fantastic- they have been accommodating for Vegans, nothing has been too much trouble. They got us soya milk, vegan cheez, facon! The staff are lovely. I don’t think I’ll stay anywhere else now. Thank you for making our holiday so good!

Just about to leave this hotel after a weeks stay over Christmas booked thru TUI/Krystal. The hotel has been brilliant for me, my 17 yr old Daughter and 11 yr old Son. We soon found the Games Room and the pool. The sauna is ace too. Facilities around the pool are great and kept very clean! The hotel food, particularly the breakfast was a little cold sometimes but it’s cooked then put under the warmer but most mornings we ate out and in the evenings too. The staff do what they can and were really friendly; even the old guy watering the plants was saying hello in English! :0) My Father arrived unexpectedly from Veliko Tărnovo one evening and the managed to squeeze him in the hotel so that we’d be closer as a family. Would stay here again anytime and couldn’t really moan about the place much TBH! :0)

All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the food was a delight. Would stay here again and recommend to others. We were late on arrival and therefore missed dinner, the staff had sorted us something to eat. Throughout our stay, the catering staff and the reception staff were friendly and there if you ever needed anything.

We stayed at the Tanne Hotel during our 9 day ski vacation. All in all we took up 5 rooms, which were neat and welcoming, with a feeling of cleanliness overall. I was there with my wife and 4 year old and it was great for us. The ski lift was within walking distance (which didn't matter much since it couldn't get you anywhere, due to the number of people, but that's another story for another time) and there was ample parking for all guests. The real highlights of the place were the Spa area, which included a pool, a jacuzzi, several saunas, massage, showers and lounge chairs, and the restaurant. In fact, the restaurant deserves its own paragraph. Large and welcoming, the staff was professional and always ready to pick up on us needing them. While English wasn't a string point of the waiters, they spoke more than enough to never get our orders wrong and they were super friendly and welcoming. And the food - oh my god the food. If you're not from the Balkans, you owe it to yourself to try the soups here, as well as the lamb and the sausage, but really, everything on the menu was brilliant. I give this place a solid 10. Thanks, Tanne, for the great base of operations for our vacation.

Rooms ok. Cleaning service ok. Breakfast ok. That’s where it ends. Nobody ever on reception and if they are there is no English. Dinner - wouldn’t feed my dog that. Spa lovely if you go after 4pm as heating only turned on at 7am. Sometimes open fire but they don’t serve hot drinks. Nobody spoke my language. Overall it was a “put up” not enjoy. Please, avoid. Obviously financial difficulties - clear to see.

Nice, warm, confortable, clean, traditional bulgarian architecture. Lovely spa, with warm swimming pool, jacuzzi, 3 kinds of sauna. The restaurant is excellent! One of the best in town, with well cooked bulgarian food and incredibly friendly staff. 600 meters away from the gondola (walking distance), still isolated from the crowd and noise. Highly recommended!

Booked a ski holiday with crystal ski this hotel was one of the cheapest options But you get a lot for your money all the rooms are very clean and it is a nice quiet hotel It as a small gym pool and sauna 5 minutes walk from the the ski lift and shops The staff was very friendly and the food was nice I wold stay there again

A lovely Rustic German hotel only 10 minutes walk from the Gondola. We booked two rooms, one double & one single. However the bed arrangement in the double on arrival was not what we wanted. But the nice English speaking guy on the reception gave us another even better one with a nice view from the balcony. The room beds were very comfortable for a good nights sleep. The Bulgarian style food in the dining room was wonderful for our breakfast and evening dinner. With a big selection to choose from. The nice reception staff allowed my son, who was staying at another local hotel, to join us for our evening meals for a small extra fee every night during our stay. The English speaking waitress in the dinning room was very cheerful, smiling and willing to help. She arranged a free pack breakfast us on two mornings, as we needed to get up early before breakfast was served. They had a real log fire going every evening in the downstairs lounge. The swimming pool was lovely, especially in the evenings. The hotel provides free bathrobes & even slippers in all the guest rooms. The only thing I did not like was the third floor single room in the roof space. Due to a very high window you could not look out and reduced headroom over the WC. But we will probably return here, as the staff made us so welcome.
