Very good hotel for a transit stop as close to the ferry terminal for the Bali crossing. The hotel spread over a large area with cottages dotted around the main hotel building. Breakfast room spread over 2 large rooms with nice selection of hot and cold food. Pretty swimming pool overlooking the Straits. Cannot comment on the dining room experience as a wedding was taken place and service was affected due to this, but plenty of other eateries in the town.

The room is big. The staffs are friendly. Dispenser for drinking water is provided. Close to Ketapang Pier. Very strict procedure for security reason, especially to go to basement and room balcony. The guests have to ask the staff to get the access to basement (car park) and ask the staff to open the balcony door. We can see Bali island from the lounge and bar at the 11th floor.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! The staff was so well mannered, helpful, and friendly! The morning breakfast was great and had a lot of variety! And there was hardly ever anyone in the pool, so my boyfriend and I always had it to ourselves. I had numerous video meetings for work during my stay and the staff went out of their way to make sure my internet connection was as fast as it could be! They even changed the router outside of our room! I’m grateful for their hard work and hospitality!

We've been there for holiday. The room was ok. Nothing special and not bad. The food was good. But the service quality was poor. Almost in every area. The front office was not friendly, the housekeeping have no standard of greeting, the FB service was lack of smile and busy of their own. So do not expect friendly, helpfull and thoughtfull service here.

There are actually several hotels around, as well as a guest house, which costs 200rmb a night. The hotel design is very design-like, similar to domestic boutique hotels, with only one floor of rooms. Since there are no restaurants around the hotel, you can basically eat at the hotel. The price is not expensive, only 50rmb per person, which is really cheap. However, there is a small cafe when you go down the alley from the hotel and turn right on the main road. A few young people are relatively new to making drinks, but the photos are beautiful. I recommend everyone to check it out. Then there is a guest house next to the hotel, where you can also drink coffee. It is surrounded by rice fields, which is also suitable for watching the sunset. Staying in the entire hotel was very relaxing and there was no sense of pressure. The biggest problem with Teras Hotel is that transportation is inconvenient. You can't get Grab here. Also, if you sign up for a group tour to climb Ijen, it is not available here. The hotel will provide a contact person to discuss it yourself. Basically, a car costs 1,700k, including guide and tickets. We will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the pier at the end. The price is slightly expensive, but it is acceptable, and it is okay for three or four people to carpool. In short, in ijen, it is highly recommended to stay here for one more day to relieve the fatigue of the special forces trip.

All of the pools are excellent. There's a private hot spring inside my villa but the public hot spring also worth trying with fantastic view and surrounding. Breakfast at Sunset Restaurant is one of the most peaceful in my life. There's thing to improve (water faucet in my bathroom) but overall it's a wonderful stay
